Save failed.
No "real" match to be watched.
This needs quite some work still...

I think there's a lot of potential here, but as others have noted the game will not save, meaning it's essentially unplayable, for now. I did have a lot of fun getting Bodchester out of League Two, but having to start over every time I return to the game makes final victory impossible and playing thus becomes futile. Judging by how hard it is for a team to progress in a new league (Matching reality, so no complaints there), the game is meant to be completed over multiple play sessions. Which clearly can't happen when it won't save your progress. Worth revisiting if that problem gets fixed, though.

forgot to mention, a max squad of 22 is too small, if you really want to account for resting people and having people sick or yellow/red carded.

No idea what the difference between STARS and AVG on player stats is at all. The status smiley face i guess is an indication when a player needs a rest, but only a guess.
No working save, that is an instant 1 star rating.
oh, and after getting promoted suddenly everyone on my team is having 1/2 star to 2 1/2 stars only. i mean i could get a subtracting of one star, but a 5 star person down to 2 ???
Nice Idea, but really needs a lot of work, and like i said, a working save/load system to get anything better than 1 star.

I would love for the game to disclose the exact meaning of the smiley faces. I suppose that they indicate a player's current condition, but what is the impact? Will players suffer injuries if you let them drop down too much? Will players in the red perform worse? Is there already a difference in performance e.g. between dark green and bright green, or is merely an indication that the player will fall into yellow soon?
