Description

A challenging resource management/strategy game with limited resources and actual NASA photos of planets as the background.

I made this over a weekend for a NASA-hosted game jam: www.darksidejam.com

Hope you like it!

How to Play

*Edited today to hopefully be more winnable.*

*Goal: Get a score of 30 active energy to move on to the next planet or moon, where resources are less friendly.*

*Mouse:* Click on a spot to move the currently selected base or bot to that spot.

*Recharge:* Bots have a charge, and when it is 0% they no longer move.

*Harvest:* Makes the bot attempt to harvest the nearest known resource of said type and return it to base.

*Grab/Combine:* Grab 2 separate resources with the Combiner to attempt to create a new resource. The result will either destroy both resources, spit them both back out, or create a different resource.

*Swap:* Change what resource the bot is seeking.

*Reset:* Restarts the game.

might be a known bug: For some reason the base starts to move on its own, esp. when the info screen is up; also I agree with Calidron: Infoscreen needs a black background.
Good concept for a game!

Maybe it's just me or my monitor but reading the light grey instructions on the slightly darker grey background is giving me an headache.

Either the game is easier or the RNG is being nicer, but the energy threshold is still at 40 btw (not that that is necessarily a bad thing anymore).
