Deskripsyon

Ang Branch ay isang kaswal na bersyon ng hardcore na real-time strategy. Gagampanan mo ang papel ng tagapagtanggol ng isang dakilang cosmic na puno, ang pinagmumulan ng mga bituin sa buong uniberso. Sinasalakay ang puno ng isang walang-isip na lahi ng mga robot na gustong kunin ang enerhiya ng puno sa pamamagitan ng pagkuha ng bawat sanga ng pollen-generating stalks. Kailangan mong gamitin ang kapangyarihan ng pollen upang buhayin muli ang bawat sinakop na sanga, kung hindi ay ubusin ng mga robot ang lahat at wala nang mga bituin na isisilang. Kung wala ang puno, magiging tigang ang uniberso โ€“ ang balanse ng pag-iral ay nasa iyong mga kamay. Nagpapakilala ang Branch ng isang simpleng sistema ng interaksyon na may komplikadong resulta. Kinokontrol ng manlalaro ang taas ng kanyang nasakop na teritoryo upang magtatag at magkontrol ng frontlines. Kailangan mong patuloy na ayusin ang daloy ng iyong pollen upang umatake, magdepensa, at mangolekta ng mga yaman sa isang epikong laban para iligtas ang uniberso!

Paano Maglaro

Kontrolin ang camera gamit ang WASD at right-click-drag ng mouse. Hilahin ang iyong mga column sa pamamagitan ng pag-click at pag-drag. Bababa ang iyong daloy. Ayusin ang iyong mga column para kontrolin ang daloy. I-click ang makina para atakihin ito gamit ang buhawi โ€“ gamitin ang iyong pollen para palakasin ang buhawi.

Branch was developed by a group of danish students, in just one month. We are planning to develop the game further, aiming for a release on iPad / iPhone later this year.

The control of the levels of your territory is frustratingly overcomplicated. It'd be better to have more of a snap-to-levels arrangement, with something like 10 different levels. As it is it's just frustrating to try and tailor the height of terrain.

Don't get it... The tutorial skipped step 10 really quickly, and the back buttons only go back in odd numbers... from 11 to 9 to 7. So I don't know what I'm meant to do to progress.

good, but still i dont get how i cant use all my power on one tornado on lvl1, which i'm stuck on

Now I've had a play with it, I think it's an interesting game (despite the tutorial being reaaaally sketchy). My cursor disappeared half way through level 3 though, and I can't get it back at all. I still managed to beat the game with incredible ease. The problem I can see is, to make the game harder, the only thing you can really do is speed up the AI's actions. Which will only make it more difficult for a human user because of their inability to use the controls as well... This doesn't make for a better end user experience, as there isn't anymore or any less strategy involved, it would be merely frustrating. To really make this game shine would require something more to the strategy than staggering stairs to create a good flow. Something like special hexagons/resources/bases/exploitable bonus'... All of those would increase the level of STRATEGY, and therefore the end user enjoyment of the game. Hope you read this, and take some of it onboard mate. Nice job otherwise. 3/5 atm.
