Description
MARDEK is an epic Flash RPG in the style of NES and SNES RPGs, like the early Final Fantasy games. It is highly story-driven, featuring a setting that merges swords-and-sorcery Fantasy with sci-fi. It will be eight chapters long.
This is the second chapter. Eight years have passed since the events of chapter 1, and Mardek and Deugan have joined the Royal Guard of Goznor!

A tip for people looking to transfer their saves over to Mardek 3... Make sure to transfer all allies' items to either Mardek or to Item Storage before making your "End of Chapter 2" save. You won't get the opportunity to get those precious equipments and potential skills back at the start of Chapter 3 (if at all). Also, you don't have to worry about stripping your characters before the "final scene," since you'll be able to access item storage and everyone's inventory at the end screen, including characters no longer in your party. I hope this helps anyone's concerns about moving their saves to the next chapter.

A little secret that you might not notice in a typical playthrough: If you talk to Gallovar after saving Goznor from the zombies, he'll give you a yalortian amulet, which can teach your paladin friend green lightning. Figured I should mention it because none of the top comments do and neither does the walkthrough.

A fast paced TbT RPG adventuring game. It has a deep, perplexing storyline filled with twists, suspicions, sadness, and laughter. A epic series, to say the least. It will keep you on the edge of your seat till' the end. A good time waster, i have been playing for 2 hours straight just now. Filled with imagination, monsters, weapons, spells, and many things to keep you occupied such as dungeon hunting or exploring and even shopping, it's filled to the brim with everything a RPG lover could want.

This game might as well be one of the best Flash RPGs one may see on the Internet. The mix of old, SNES-like graphics and refined, tasteful artwork at the battle scenes is great; the gameplay very straightforward and gives a slight twist to the RPG genre; the inter-chapter save feature amazing (I've never seen such a feature before, and I think only the developer/s of this game have done it!) and innovative, and the dialogue and story just plain fun, and very amusing at times. Very fun game, engaging and very much worth your time! 5/5
