Description

How to Play

Controls

- Attack Mode with Warship present -
1-4 for focusing the Warship

Strategy Guide: Tech to Missiles ASAP. After that, tech your main gun (the bottom row) to level 1 Plasma gun. Use tech to boost Missile to 10. Then Base armor to max.--You are better off making lots of level 1 missile turrets rather than 1 really strong one. Here is why: 1) You cant build a missile turret in the middle. So even with great range, one turret won't give you as much coverage. 2) Missile AI SUCKS! With lots of level 1 turrets, they will spam so much more missiles that you are more likely to hit the correct foe. 3) A powerful turret will waste too much on 1 foe. 4) You can buy SEVEN level 1 turrets for the same cost as a single level 3 turret! 5) 7 level 1 turrents has worse range but WAYYY more firepower than a single level 3 turret. Around map number 7, you do need to get the upgrades to the Amoeba doodad. 200 bucks and it makes a little cloud that slows foes. Put two between your base and the wormhole (where you missiles can blast away at the stopped foes).

Very good although the end boss is disproportionately hard. Suggestions: 1) Allow battleship commands to be issued in build mode. 2) Label the battleships so I know which one I'm commanding. 3) Give some small number of tech points for losing (trying the hard level again feels better than backtracking. 4) Allow upgrades from the level map, not just when starting a level. 5) Indicate how much upgrades cost even when you don't have enough cash yet. 6) Indicate when an upgrade isn't available because you don't have the tech level rather than just not having enough cash.

Besides an unhelpfully vague user interface (some precise numbers in things like strength, rate of fire, and defense would be nice), this game also has numerous typos that are amusing in a sad way. Developers should have an editor go through the game text to pick out mistakes. And would it be so much to ask to be able to disable the tutorial woman? She's unnecessary after the first time playing.

It's also a little slow and repetitive, some weapons or enemies that are actually varied would help a lot.
