I would highly recommend checking the Unity documentation on its tips for optimizing performance. The glowy purple things floating all around are probably whats creating all that lag. You need t make it so that those purple things only perform their scripts if the player is nearby, and that'll probably help tons.

It's really not to terrible of a game, however it just became entirely too tedious to continue searching for each object. Also, the collision detection is quite poor; I could walk about halfway into one of the boxes at the spawn.

I suppose not to contradict peoples opinions but as a clarification:
There are multiple points to find in the world, and the ways to get to them vary and there is no right or wrong way of doing so. The harmony of the music also if you notice as you illuminate the world will subtely modulate towards a higher less melancholy tone (to define why I said dissonance).
I apologize if its tough to comprehend at bits, any ideas on improvement? I'm always open to new ideas and thank you so much for the feedback! :)

Just want to point out that the maker of this game doesn't know what dissonant means. It means out of harmony or tune. :S
