Deskripsi
We present our game, made from students at Mediadesign Hochschule in Munich, Germany.
It's no final version but we hope you'll enjoy it.
At this moment two levels are available from which you can choose in the menu.
The main gameplay feature is the possibility to fly like a real bird.
We focused on the feeling of flying and the beautiness of the world.
To challenge your flying skills we set up some insects ( glowing spheres ) which you can collect.
Also you have the possibility to switch from one level to another by finding the entrance to the level.
PS: Mabye if you like it enough we may produce some additional content ;)
Cara Bermain
on ground:
w, a, s, d = movement
mouse = look around
space = jump, fly, flap wings
left mouse = interact with objects
esc = skip to levelselection menu
press space while jumping for starting to fly
in the air:
space = wingbeat
mouse = steering
s = brake

For some reason I can't get past the level select screen. Clicking either 'meadow' or 'forest' does nothing. It's causing some lag with my browser however, so it may be that file size is an issue. Also, the game screen area is far too large. 1024x768 is still the most common screen resolution so you should be designing for that, though maybe add a 'full-screen' option for those with large monitors who want to immerse themselves fully into it.

Yes haveing the same problem with the main menu screen. Both the Meadow, and Forest bottons are broken not being picked up when clicked..

I agree on the size, this is too large. Also, in game explanation of the controls would be useful.

The game works for me, but I have the same issues with the resolution. Keep it down in the Browser. The game itself is quite good. The animations and the assets are quite well made, the controls of the bird are great. If you did this all by yourself, it a really astonishing feat. The game itself is a little mediocre, just flying around and collecting, but the controls are so good that even this is fun. The main problem I have is that the frames per second drop rapidly as soon as I look in a certain direction. Which is strange since even Crysis runs on high specs on my machine ;-) You have to reduce polygons, drawcalls, real time lighting or whatever.
