Tirahan - Turn Based Strategy Game의 태그
설명
Tirahan is based on a pen and paper space battle strategy game that we used to play when we were in gradeschool. This version is designed to be played by 2 players on a single computer, or by a single player against a simple AI.
The object of the game is to be the first player to reach and destroy his opponent's flag ship. While doing so, each player must also protect his own flag ship from enemy fighters and other hazard that may be present. Players must also be careful from destroying his own fleet as a result of friendly fires.
플레이 방법
Left Click - Select Ship
Left/Right Arrow - Rotate Ships
F key -Press & hold Increase Power/Release to Fire
Esc - Pause/Unpause/How-To-Play
Please check How-To-Play page for Touch Controls
Projectile Behavior:
1. Collision with Orb Shield - Projectile and Orb is destroyed; No ship is spawned
2. Collision with Wall / Borders - Projectile is destroyed; No ship is spawned
3. Collision with Asteroid - Projectile is destroyed; No ship is spawned; Asteroid gets nudge from it's location/path.
4. Collision with FlagShip - Game over.
4. Collision with a Ship(s) - Ship is destroyed; Projectile will continue to travel based on it's Power. When it stops on an empty space it will be destroyed and new Ship will spawn on Projectile's last location.
Spawning Ship
- When a Ship spawned into an existing Wall, Orb, Asteroid, Ship, or FlagShip, that Ship is immediately destroyed.
Kamikaze Attack
- This results when you spawn a Ship into an existing Enemy Ship (after Firing). Both Ships are destroyed, but you get an extra shot/turn. If you are quite skilled, you can use Kamikaze Attacks to wipe out an entire squadron with just a single Ship!
Friendly Fire
- Players can destroy their own Ships including the Flag Ship as a result of Friendly Fire.
Player's Turn
- Name in Scoreboard brightens up to indicate whose turn it is.
개발자 업데이트
Space Fleets are no longer behind its protective orb barriers. Using the FlagShip’s stored Energy, it is able to generate a protective Forcefield around itself. With every attack it absorbs, the forcefield weakens. To restore the forcefield, you must search for Power Orbs hidden inside the asteroids. To collect them, spawn a ship directly into a Power Orb.
Game Updates:
- Add New Map Level “Asteroid Belt”
- Add ForceField Defense System
- Add PowerUps for ForceField
- Fix bug in timer.
- Add Main Page
- Add Level/Map Select Page.

ahh, okay, its not hanging, its just not clearing the power bar from the last shot, so i didnt realize i could click another ship and fire again at first. Maybe a turn indicator and a message saying extra shot?
We decided to use the score board on the upper left corner as turn indicator. Green brightens up if it is player turn.

It's not... exactly... turn-based. I got a ship smashed by an asteroid on my first turn, before I even learned the controls.
Haha... sorry about that. But that's a rogue Asteroid and does not care who's turn it is.

Controls are super buggy for me. It appears that holding the left mouse button allows me to select and rotate the ship, but I need to hold both mouse buttons to charge the shot, arrow keys and f key aren't working at all.
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct. Using Mouse controls, it does not prevent you from rotating the ship as soon as you select it, as long as you are still holding the left button. You can even rotate the ship while you are charging the shot. So, better to hold the mouse steady while charging. Some uses this to their advantage as they can make last minute adjustment to the direction of the ship, because once you trigger the "charging", there is no turning back. Also, the ship does not follow or point to the direction where the mouse cursor is. Moving the mouse to the left also does not mean the ship will rotate to the left. It depends on whether your cursor is above or below the ship. It may take a while getting used to, but we will add some more instruction on mouse behavior. Not sure why your keyboard is not working. We will wait for some more feedback if other are also having the same problem. Again, thanks for the feedback.
