Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Its mainly for absolute begginers who haven't touched flash yet.
It incorporates basic techniques in actionscripting and in setting out the layout.
It also has various useful links to external tutorials.

3+1/5. +1 for old school!! Until I learn enough flash to be able to understand as3. I found some interesting info about buttons I had forgotten in the flash editor.
Just a bit of criticism. It would look a lot neater if the pictures were somehow cropped and not stretched so much.

personally im going to learn as3 because i dont know too much about as2 yet, and most tutorials (well... i mean tutorials outside kong cause here almost everyone is for as2 xD) and best libs are for as3, but as2 is fine and you can make anything you can do with as3 (with more or less effort, but you can xD)

learn some knowledge, it is AS2, i started in flash 8 .. and no, some people prefer old school, and dont want to start learning again in AS3

I don't understand why people are still writing tutorials in AS1 and using deprecated techniques like attaching script to clips and using scenes. I doubt the sample AS is in anyway reflective of the code being used in the games mentioned at the end of the section. Learn some AS3 (AS2 at least) and understand what classes and methods are for.
