Claim the tithe (one-tenth) of your peasants harvest, reinvest it to create more and bigger farms. Merge farms to evolve them to a higher stage, which generates higher incomes and reduces upgrading costs. Harvest 6 different type of crops and become the breadbasked of the world.
This game was made in one week as part of the 2nd Kongregate gamejam with the theme "The number 10". It also implements two of the modifiers "no violence" and "mouth sounds".

When you need money, you can always click "Claim Tithe", which gives you 10% of your peasants current stock.
You can upgrade your farms by clicking the +1 (or +50, +max) button on each farm panel. This will increase the production output by 10.
To build a new farm, click the farm's crop type in the top bar.
When you have 2 farms of the same type and same stage, the merge button gets activated. The new (merged) farm will produce the combined output of both single farms, but will reset the upgrade costs.
The superscript number indicates the stage of the farm. Every merge increases the stage, which results in an increased sell price per produced ton.
If you want to, you can restart the game by clicking the Restart Game button on the top right. You will only keep your score, which is calculated based on your overall money earned.
You can turn off the sounds in the about menu.

This was probably the last update, because the gamejam ends soon and I would probably be disqualified when I change something after the deadline..

I really like the game, but I have a few suggestions:
-When u reset, those points earned should give some advantages (for example: option to reduce prices or years go faster, etc).
-Buy all option for upgrades, considering better buildings first.
Still find this game really cool :D

you should definitely put out a "prestige" button or just something that allows you to reset with benefits

First i just merged as soon as i could, then I thought play slower and slower, I think I have reset about 4 or 5 times, now im building one day then merging after waiting a day. lets see what happens. lol lots of fun but wish prestige was involved, gotta start over with some benefit and stuff to buy with prestige currency, keep going please.

Game doesn't save? Need saving for idle games like this or at least a manual option... so much progress lost f rom earlier.

I've implemented a savegame based on IndexedDB. Sadly it seems that some browser block access, because the game runs in an iframe. You could try another browser or change your privacy settings to not block third-party-cookies. A more sophisticated savegame was out of scope of this one week gamejam, but maybe I can improve it when we're allowed to change the games again.
