Guy Slashing Stuff in the Future settles up the adventures of this otaku anti-hero who, after working for so long in a factory, discovers energy beyond any measure, equipped with an energy sword and a strong will to become the true anime hero we all deserve, he jumps out to the worst and most dangerous places of the city, prepared in this Nightcrawler Beat 'em up to SLASH, SOME, STUFF (In the future).

玩法說明
(Explained in-game)
- W A S D(Azerty enabled as well) or arrows To move.
- J or X to charge and slash!
- K or C to shoot your electric shotgun (when charged).
- ESC or P To pause.
- GAMEPAD FRIENDLY! buttons explained in-game.
(Tested with Xbox 360 and PS4 controller).

Update v1.0.3:
- Fixed a bug where you can’t see your score in the first message when you die because when you close it it also goes to the main game.
- Now pressing any input to skip to the next score text thing will also instantly set the score you got, like the ol’ good games.

This game has great core gameplay. The character is fun and fluid to control. It's satisfying to cut through enemies. The intro cards and backgrounds have a great aesthetic. All the animations look great. Having gamepad support was a great addition. I love the streamlined nature of the game as it is, but I would pay good money for an expanded version.

What an atmosphere, I love it. It's a pity it's a simple scroller-arcade type of game so I guess it won't do great rating-wise but it was still a great stuff to play.

it's a good thing the "bullets" go so slowly or our hero would be to put it slightly as dead as the good anime
