Age Rating
Suggested rating: ESRB Everyone 10+ / Teen-friendly. Contains non-realistic fantasy combat with bows, projectiles, and PvP arena battles. No gore, graphic violence, sexual content, gambling, alcohol, drugs, or mature themes.
AI Disclosure
AI tools were used during development for coding, debugging, UI iteration, gameplay tuning, deployment prep, and some original pixel-art asset improvements. The concept, gameplay direction, testing, balance, final review, and publishing were directed by the developer.
This is not a one-prompt generated game. AI was used as a development assistant, not as a replacement for creative decisions. No AI voices, celebrity likenesses, real-person imitation, or copyrighted character imitation are used.

-Added the new Ice Theme to Survivor Mode.

Weapon Balance
-Buffed weaker weapons to make them more viable.
-Swift Bow
-Slightly narrowed the projectile spread angle.

-Buffed auto-fire related skills.
-Added weapon damage scaling to auto-fire skills so they can remain effective in later stages.
Weapon Upgrade System Changes
-Weapon upgrades no longer downgrade when enhancement fails.
-Increased the damage gained from upgrades after +6.
UI Improvements
-Fixed UI bugs.
-The Traits scrollbar now works properly.

-Important information is now easier to check on smaller screens.
-Players can now view damage statistics for skills and weapons during gameplay.
Bug Fixes
-Fixed an issue where players could clear the game by pressing 1, 2, 3, and 4.

To the developers: I feel the boss' damage output should be nerfed, especially if you actually want players to have fun without needing a god run to beat stage 1-1.

The game is very, very easy in single-player mode. It gets even easier once you realize there’s a bug with the trees (they approach you in a circular path, which gives you time). I position my character just above the tree in the bottom-right corner; I keep Ice Spear selected for the first 6–7 levels, then switch to Breaker Bow. You don’t need to move until the final boss. Since the final boss jumps on top of you, it needs to step back a bit.

As you mentioned, we have confirmed that some monster behavior becomes unintentionally weak when interacting with obstacles, especially around pathfinding and obstacle avoidance. We are currently working on adjustments for this. We also agree that staying in the corner of the map is not the intended gameplay experience. To improve this, we are working on reshaping the map corners into a smoother, more circular layout so that this kind of strategy becomes less effective. We’ll address these issues in an upcoming update and come back with improvements soon. Thank you!

Fun game, some comments now that I've beaten lvl 15: (1) scrollbar isn't actually a scrollbar, you can't drag it to move the selection. (2) it would be helpful to see all stats on home and pause screens. (3) It's not clear how much each upgrade gives, nor that you can buy multiple of each tree upgrade. (4) Downgrading weapons on failure sucks, but I guess is fine since save data is deleted so soon (not your fault).
Thank you so much for clearing stage 15! Even clearing every stage in one try takes over 150 minutes, so I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the game that much. Your feedback is very helpful. I’ll fix the scrollbar issue in the next patch, and I’ll also improve the UI so players can see more detailed stats and clearer upgrade information. I originally wanted players to discover some effects naturally, but I agree that too much information was hidden. For weapon downgrades and upgrade balance, I’m still reviewing the cost, success rates, and effects. If the player base grows, I’m also considering managing progression data through a database later. I’ll keep working on adding more content soon. Thank you again for playing Archer Arena!
