Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Wow, this game actually took me about 2 weeks to complete. I loved making this tutorial because I knew, for once, I'd actually be helping someone with my Flashes. Well here she is, I hope you enjoy the tutorial :D
[Update 2:44 AM Monday January 24th 2011]
Yes all of the movement codes were taken from Emanuele Feronato. This flash just grouped them together and other tutorials.

The friction movement tutorial code was copied straight out of Emanuele Feronato's flash game creation tutorial. Actually now that I realize it. All of the movement tutorials code is copied from the Flash Game Creation Tutorial!
Even know I personally believe I could find all of this with the exact same code on the internet, It's a good collection of tutorials. This is a tutorial I'll be coming back to for help again and again. It would of been 5/5 If you didn't steal that code and came up with something new, but I guess it's 4/5 for now.

make a mute button : just use a movieclip for this,and paste on frame:
var sound:Sound = new Sound(this)
Movieclip.onRelease = function(){
if(sound.getVolume() == 100){
sound.setVolume(0)
} else {
sound.setVolume(100)
}
}
pretty simple you know...

It's really just stolen from http://www.emanueleferonato.com/2006/10/29/flash-game-creation-tutorial-part-1/, also the sound is soso and the way you show the code is not an easy way to read it. The examples in the original are better. You know, if you would at least improve anything on the original, but you just make it worse. If you really want to help other people, help them find the original tutorial.
