Whenever I get near or over ee10.40 prestige points, prestiging stops working more than half the time, and I keep losing progress. I don't know if I can advance past this if this glitch continues.
To get the hard badge, you need to beat all three acts with all six classes on hard difficulty, in addition to other challenges. That's a massive time investment, and you just shouldn't go for the hard badge if you don't think you'll manage it. I'm dropping out now.
I don't often play card games like this, rarer still ones with resource management, so if this is a problem common across all games like this, and not just this game in particular, then that would take some of the blame off, but generally speaking, any game that has unblockable cards that can demolish a unit at any time is poor design. Imagine if recent games like Battlefield or CoD had a button you could push 3 or 4 times per game that instantly killed another player and forced them to respawn, with no counter. It would be poor design and annoying, but not not necessarily game-breaking. Just annoying and pointless. Now I expect to get downvoted by some crybabies, so, thanks for clicking (show) to read this comment.
"Yellow faction loves you, you are allies with them" End turn. "Yellow faction takes your base, instead of attacking your mutual enemy". What is the point of the like/dislike system of the factions if it doesn't influence their moves in the slightest?
Thanks, I managed to distract Yellow long enough for Red and Lime to establish a beachhead, they they kept Yellow busy while I advanced my main base forward. After that, when I was matching Yellow in funds and territory, I focused on defence and gradual advancement, let R and L attack Y (though they still nonsensically attacked me a few times), severed Y's forces when it took out R, then quickly beelined for its base with the knights I was using to keep it at bay, and then L surrendered.
@Tandu Yeah, I got it on my second or third try, when I blindly figured out the exact path you're supposed to take to beat it. Unfortunately, as someone else pointed out earlier, a lot of the levels work out like that; just try different approaches until you happen to try the one the dev had in mind, and that (and that alone) will work.
@floury It's because the shills will attack anyone who criticises the AI of the game even though it very clearly has issues and is subpar some of the time. "You're expressing intelligent and objectively correct criticism of this thing that I like? NOO! I must downvote and disparage you!!"
@DouglasGrave Earlier today, I was allied with Brown, who I hadn't attacked and loved me, and I wasn't competing with for space. He was in active conflict with Red, Yellow, Light Green and Grey.
He expended his workers to create two spearmen, beelined towards my base and wiped it out, then lost all of his guys immediately due to lack of payment when he lost a single territory and we both were wiped out of the game.
There are examples of utterly stupid AI who make nonsensical decisions to kamikaze you.
I wish the throw button wasn't the same as the tackle button; at least 5 times a match, as I go to tackle a player with the ball, I accidentally throw it as soon as I passively gain possession of it
