I just killed Yndor and then died by "falling to my death" while wearing a levitation ring. I've died a great many times, but that one's different and really weird.
I have no idea what's going on in this game, but my guy keeps falling through the floor randomly ending the expedition and I've lost all 5 fights I've tried because my guy keep reviving the enemies.
The game is about getting stronger (gathering materials, weapons, runes) and rescuing then recruiting new characters.
The skill can be toggled on-off in auto battle.

In case anyone else encounters the same problems I did. You need to increase your 'Max Damage so far' and 'Max Cubes gained'. I was able to fly through to Tier 5 after increasing those. It has a dramatic impact on your Helpers and possibly more. I recommend taking a slow turn through to T2P20 with just your highest cubes active. Good luck
I have no idea how to get through Tier 3. For Tier 1 Cubes work well, for Tier 2 it's all about Samurai, and Tier 3 (Phase 5) nothing hurts this guy. Samurai + Helper is only doing 25TD and my Equipment is doing 225TD.
I've done 44 Challenges and can't do anything else now. Full Runs give almost no Skill Points and I'm really not sure what I could even do to progress. Anyone have ideas?
Why am I not seeing any new buildings for floors 10, 11, 12? The online Guide says there should be new things each floor, but there doesn't appear to be anything...
I don't understand the balancing here. Arrows and Laser are great until you get the CannonBombs, which is great until Homing Missiles. I've gotten to Level ~2,000 and with a couple Stars and upgrades into either Arrows Upgrades or Lasers they don't seem to matter at all. Am I missing something?
Am I terrible, or is killing 60 Enemies in a single run insane? I don't know why some missions are cumulative and others are a single run without anything saying so.
Oh man kupo707 (creator of the Epic Battle Fantasy series) commented on this game with a positive review! That's how you know it's good, because that series (and Matt's other games) are fantastic as well. Ahem, anyway, this game is great and breaking down each level individually for the badges and ingame counters is great. Controls work well, even though I'm surprisingly bad at it at times, and the art and music all work really well.
Woo finally got that Hard Badge... I got the Medium badge back in 2019, and told myself then that I'd never come back to this nightmare. Despite that I've come back several times and always failed.
I ran Necromancer and just stacked Mana. Which I know isn't a unique idea, I failed doing it with runs that got passed Level 6 twelve times in total before everything just clicked.
Don't be afraid to run. As long as no one is around you, you can safely use stairs without being followed. And as long as you have food, you can safely run around the previous floor like a madman to regain stats.
I finished the first two badges back in 2010 and now the last two in 2019. What a walk down memory lane this was.
Good game overall. I haven't really played many Tower Defense games in a while, but this one is nice, simple, and fun.
I'm not sure why, but I cannot turn in any Quests. When I click the reward I want and click Accept the button 'pushes' but it doesn't progress and the Quest doesn't actually finish.
