Ouch, the control system is painfully horrible.
Also how do you fail to inform the player right-click-to-shoot? (You have a two shot capacity and recharge by collecting lights)
Absurdly long grind for the hard badge, weeks, even though I often left game actively running 24h/day on most days. I'm not claiming my setup was optimal, but for comparison here are my stats when I got the badge: Round 5996, 5 accessory slots (not sure whether 5th slot was worth it, could have gotten red gems instead), arrow and laser DMG over 70m per level, missile DMG 90m per level and rate 345m, Cannons seem weak so 44m, rebirth gold exp damage at +120%, Talents 113/110/0/100/146/21. Note: Arrow and Laser talents each give a strong mastery boost at level 100. Power gems 28/25/27. Basic accessories maxed plus Diamond arrows 80 and Rubber Eye 20.
Daddy daddy! Can we go to the zoo? Sorry sweetums, but zoo admission is one quadrillion dollars and mommy will die if we don't buy her cancer medicine.
PLEASE 1 STAR RATING, this is a reupload of Mergest Kingdom with different art. Sleezy developer and a total waste of time replaying the same crappy same game.
Maybe I got lucky, but here's how I got the "Easy" 100-coins-in-one-run badge relatively quickly: Trashcans hold both coins and life, they are the focus, just blitz from can to can. Don't bother hunting enemies, and only grab blue orbs if they are safe and convenient. If you fail to instakill a can and enemies are swarming just run for the next can, don't commit suicide obsessing on getting this one. Take a snake path like up-left-down-left-up-left-down. In battle always upgrade Knives if you can for most effective can killing, with Frying pan as a second choice to help kill cans and for defense. Between runs max out run speed first.
"Is there some trick to making Kongregate give you the badges while using SuperNova?" Answer: The Kong staff in charge of badges mistakenly believed SuperNova could and would award badges. Nope, you can't get badges with SuperNova. Kong is in the process of changing their system. Flash based games will stop appearing as Badge-of-the-day.
Level 16 better hint: First place the yellow-S-with-a-dot on the board (5 possibilities to work through). Next place the yellow-plus-with-a-dot, there will usually only be one possibility (or at most two to try). Next place the blue-plus-with-a-dot, again usually only one possibility (or at most two to try). There are a total of 7 possibilities to check, if you put those pieces out first. That is a very manageable number to check, and with those pieces placed it is usually quick to either solve it or to prove position is unsolvable. The other pieces-with-dots will have have few valid options, the yellow dot in the top-right corner becomes hard to cover, the straight-purple is hard to place (note the column with zero purple), and the two-blue in the second row is extremely hard to satisfy when there have to be zero blue in the third row.
IF YOU ARE STUCK ON LOADING SCREEN: Rightclick the title screen. Click "Inspect Element". You'll get a popup. Wait 5 seconds for it to load the page content. Press the up arrow, delete key, up arrow, and delete again. Then you can close the popup and play. (More technical info in case that doesn't work: You want to delete div class="title_grass", and delete div class="title". You might need to maximize the popup to see it, and you might need to search for the word grass.)
Tip: Don't expect anything to be explained or make sense at the end. It seems like the story is going somewhere, apparently significant plot points are raised, but then it just ends with a strange nothing.
Level 9: Top right, wait for them to stop. Top middleish and quick go middle right. The two quick clicks gets left one going fast enough, and quick aim the right ones down through the gap.
It's good to see innovation, moreover it works well. The initial learning curve is a bit rough given the deliberate time pressure. At minimum you should make set bonuses visible somewhere pre-combat. Better would be some sort of basic/tutorial mode with little or no time pressure, perhaps pointing out key game concepts such as no-heal areas. I also suggest adding a flat 1 or 1.5 second pause before advancing to the next monster-group. While time pressure is ok, the pace can get inhuman when insta-killing. The Water set seemed disappointing. Set Earth-4 was extremely valuable for some areas, but my favorite was Fire-3 plus Air-2 to crank up the damage output. (If you have 6 equipment slots, that leaves some flexibility for grabbing equipment upgrades.) I found the Judgement skill particularly useful. Not only does Judgement speed basic progress, it can combine with other skills to at the end of a run to jump ahead an extra area (picking up the completion bonus for the extra area).
That's actually funny you picked up on the judgment trick, I only found that out myself about an hour ago. Another player found out you can actually skip the final boss that way and I'm gonna keep that in lol. I know it's incredibly unobvious but you can delay the spawning of monsters by hopping back and forth on a stage. Not a great reason for not having a pause, but just a little strat I use sometimes if I'm really debating something. I agree the speed can be very challenging especially if you're in a warp zone, though some players seem to handle it well and use it for farming. All in all, thanks for the suggestions on helping with the learning curve. I'm currently revamping the loadout screen a bit to help with things and hope it'll scare away people less :)
His confusion blossoms. A deep pit of sense flows absent. An eel rises furiously slow. The round drop from the sky father crying pickles carrot. THUMB! No, only hallucination the emotions expand.
Level 17 faster solution: Shove the box rightward into the pit and press X. (Note: We never use the box. There is simply no reason to jump over it, and this puts you in the right spot to hit X.) Then kill the thee enemies on spikes in rapid sequence.
If you already beat the game and the badge doesn't award: There is a small pale dot in the top left corner. Click that to get the level menu. Select a level (I suggest 1), and beat it again. Then the badge awards.
@xX_TrySoHard_Xx Level 15: Time it so that there's two empty squares between you, and you move towards it at the same time it moves towards you. Attack it to take the crown, while it doesn't move. Attack it a second time in a row. This kills it, before it gets a chance to move.
