nice game, but way too easy imho. as soon as i was able to buy about 50 artifacts every trade from that time on was artifacts only.
something that could change that is random events making you lose money (in % of available cash, not absolute, 100k is a joke as it's only a 10 artifacts trade win) or that effects your transportation storage size or goods amount.
hm, concerning colours: rare seems purple, epic is normal, if installed, its purple too, while artefact looks normal wether installed or not. HM. besides: normal < rare < epic < Artifact ????
Howto get rich: 1st: get a ship with at least 4/4 slots, 2nd: clear all pirates in a system, 3rd: add 2 energy and 2-X cargo extensions (biggest here), 4th: add 4-X mining blazers (small or medium IS enough), 5th: automine and be afk in the process. may be somethin @ the dev: cargo extensions might be too big, especially used the described way
some of the "Boss"-Fights are just too easy, while others on same difficulty) are nearly impossible to win, esp. the mummy-fight when that warlock-type guy easily kills 1, sometimes 2, members
nice tactical game, with some good aspects and some negative. GOOD: the use of armies seems to be with some intend (AI), even though it could be better; love to have some movement and range variation as well as impact of landscape. BAD: AI doesnt realize the collection of forces near its borders, treats it as there would be 2-3 units only; impact of terrain on movement is missing; there is a "take all"-habit, which makes best units much better than 3-4 normals even; the varity of unit types could be better e.g. spear/pike could have a first-strike vs cav, but could be weaker vs archer and so on.
Still all an all a good game, bit too easy imho, but still 5/5
ok, bit later i found that once beating lvl 50 and using dark + blast, or even dark + double hit, one EASILY could achieve lvl 200 Arena (stopped at 100, because was bored after)
for me the skillset: Arcane+Heal+Superheal+"Skills" (for the power granted) and the Light transformation worked. invested every bit of money into swords and armor, ignored pets more or less, and did put all the rest of my EP into "Meditate" to empower the regeneration granted by the light transformation. soon after doing some "Meditates" nearly all recieved damage has been countered by regeneration. The last story mission was a bit ugly though, but managed it using Heals from time to time. The only elemental Skill i chose on the run was the Dark skill, but in the end i've got to say that it wasnt worth it. would skip it if i'd ever play that game again. the damage plus is not that great compared to the energy cost
hm, the Xyloxi-Campaign is funny. as far as i remember i got close to zero new cards that i intend to use in my XY-Deck. Instead, you can get some other cards several times (that are of no use to me)
well, nice game, liked the "Attraction"-thing. about enemy specials: yes: play hard, and you might even complain about "too much". EsP the 3-Shot is evil. if you hit the corresponding ship by accident without really knowing where it is, it can be quite painful, as the 3-shot seems to be used every turn.
in my opinion something has to happen about wars. ATM im doin a fight, where resistance is 4, retaliation is 8 (!), regeneration is 5, and ships attack is +4 .... INSANE. not even enoguh, i often face ships with -2/-2 on one of mine, sometimes combined with raising own attack. some things are just TOO much
Thanks Doc Spirit!!
