Why are Kong MMOs so boring and repetitive? If there was ever a good and original one that played more like a real MMO, they would make so much more money.
I gave one star originally. I just knew the game was screwed up and unplayable. Once I managed to get Minesweeper out of my head, that jumped to 5 stars and I was hooked. Great job.
The only thing that bugs me about this game is that it's non-linear, despite having linear designations for each level (3-4, 3-5, 3-6), and that clicking the arrow doesn't take you to the next level.
Great game and great series, but I still hate the pixel graphics. 80s and 90s pixel graphics were clearer than those in this series. They don't change my vote, but it's an affectation that adds nothing positive to the game.
Also stuck at 97/99 stars, level 39 with all quests done. I went through 1000 comments and found several people with the same problem but no solution. I didn't notice when I did the 20k survival badge, do you get stars for survival?
I really don't see the point of all the walking. It adds nothing to the game. There's no real challenge to it, just frustration of missing something and wasting time. The game would lose nothing by having a map you click to start the next battle.
JFC, are people ever going to grasp that Nitrome games will never get achievements because they'll never use the API? Yeah, they make some good games, but STFU about badges.
Anyone who compares this to candy crush missed a couple thousand match three clones between it and Bejeweled. Game play is very dissatisfying, with no special pieces for matching four or five and most of the specials seem to appear randomly which removes a lot of the strategy of the genre and replaces it with mindless clicking. The graphics aren't even as good as Bejewled's graphics from 12 years ago.
Thanks, we try to keep it positive! :)
