You can fill a screen with one type of enemy unit, switch to a different level and get that levels income per kill. Example: Let a screen fill with level 8 which takes you 2 hits to kill, switch to 7 which takes 1 hit to kill, then when you start the level 7 enemies switch to level 15 and get level 15 money per kill.
@Hitokirin: What anon9mous means is the game doesn't tell you what each stat does BEFORE you actually start the game. To know what they do, you currently have to make a game, look at what they do under the help and then start a new game to have a better idea of what you want to put your stats into.
As well, AI isn't that great, it basically waits one second then turns towards where your location was and shoots. You can herd all the planes into a group and pick them off one at a time with little to no threat. I would suggest giving each plane different AIs, or have a set of AIs that each plane can start with at random.
It's a good start, but it lacks depth entirely. This game needs levels, upgrades, different ships and more enemies. I played this game once for about 40 seconds and got ALL of the content that it had to offer, that should be the case of any game. What does exist of the game works well, but I'd like to see a MAJOR overhaul of content to get anywhere with it.
Keep going ;)
Took me 10 minutes to beat, All you NEED to have is archers at max and spells and there is no challenge. I like the game but balancing is a must to make it a VERY good game.
This game, for what it has, is 10/10 easily. I haven't had as much fun in a strategy flash game as I did while playing Hordes and Lords. Couple things that could make this game a lot better: Longer Campaign, Bigger Maps, Longer Maps, More Units, Customization of a unit group ( maybe make a squad your own, and hire individual units instead. This would also make for a longer campaign as you would start with a smaller group. ) I wouldn't suggest healers, as that could break the entire game very quickly. The Knights are quite over powered, as well as the archers when you have a wall to protect them ( I know that is how they should be xP ) I also found the catapults to be in the way a lot.
Let me remake my comment: I've had my quests change in the middle of a quest. After I suicided, I got a quest for 6 Kidneys, and after I got 3 it switched to 17 sapphire. Meaning, I suicided, got a quest, half way through the quit ( Not suiciding a 2nd time ) The quest changed to 17 sapphire.
The raters of comments are retarded btw -.- just saying. Something that could actually help the developer find/fix some kind of bug and they down vote it.

I got the Stuck at Death glitch on level 13 with my 5th Ascension. If you catch it instantly, you can quit before the game auto-saves your file and go back to before it happens.
My best character is a Troll Dark Knight, because it has no spells to waste time casting. Almost every class I make ends up with at least one spell it casts over and over again until the mana is gone, which ultimately kills the character more often than it should.
This goes along with my idea of being able to choose what kind of attacking your character uses, because my knight, shouldn't use spells that kills it.
My warrior dies, because it knows level 1 heal and instead of attacking. It attempts to heal over and over again and dies because it can't heal enough.
It would be awesome if there was some kind of ability for the player to change certain behavioral actions of their character. Example, use melee, use range, use magic. Also, it would be fun to have quest options later on, such as item find, boss find, kill x number of monsters, and maybe just plain kill monsters at random.
Thanks for the criticism and feedback :).
