So like "normal" difficulty actually means "get destroyed about 50 times before your consolation money builds up enough that you can play"? I think I got it now.
With a cooldown of 30min, the 'Metal Detector' skill should be like 500% extra gold - especially considering how slow gold accumulation is at that point in the game
Not bad for a first go. Couple debug issues: If you walk directly back into the picture room after opening the door to the fire platforms, you get stuck in the picture room. Have to be killed by zombie to get back out. Also, I'm assuming the map on the whiteboard was the order the pictures were supposed to be gathered in, maybe the zombie doesn't appear if you do it right. Anyway, you can just hop the tables if you do it wrong. Keep developing - there's potential here.
A bit short, but otherwise a great recreation of a late 80s adventure game, right on down to the lounge music and cheesy decor. Even the gameplay was true to form, with completely unintuitive inventory use!
Soon. I'm working on it.
