playing this on macOS, so far it works although not knowing the game on windows platform i don't know if something is missing.. macOS version 10.13.3 (17D47), Chrome browser version 71.0.3578.98.. tried refreshing the game, my characters and progress are kept!
@furiat auto-routes rps numbers are good, ships speed is increased 5x and so is the production, that means it's all god, working fine
@wyvern25 @0Isaac0 there were certain problems with last update, that's why developers had to cancel all autoroutes. I had like 50 od them , so i know the pain.. but in 20 minutes you can get it all working
About automatic routes - they seem fine now, I probably wasn't right for them being broken.
I want to ask about idling. One hour of +100 production gives you 360 000.
To produce same amount in 1 minute takes 6000/s (6k*60s = 360k) that means that for one hour, offline production should go up by 60 times (6000/100). Add 1 more for the minute itself of course, it should be increased by 61 times.
We can easily calculate per second - it should be 60/3600 = 0,01667. For example, 20 seconds offline 20*0,1667= 0,3333, add 1 for the minute itself = 1,3333.
When i go offline for an hour my multiplier is roughly 31, for two hours it is 61 which means that production is halved while idling? (i can test it with precise timeshift but don't want to publicly say how because it would ruin the game)
Automatic routes during those 60second after idling are sort of broken. Routes that are defined for neighboring planets like Promision-Vasilis are working fine i think. But routes that have one or more planets in between, stop for 5-6 seconds on every planet. I had a route that takes 10 seconds, but it took it like 30-40 seconds, leaving my Promision hydrogen to 0 even though i had 500k in storage and automatic route from orpheus which carried exact amount of hydrogen needed for equilibrium. When i played actively, for an hour minutes, hydrogen level stays the same, so the route works fine, but idling routes don't.
@Tiberius1704 Renaming your empire would be nice feature. Renaming planets would be nice too, but it would cause a mess cause people are discussing about planets all the time. If everyone had different names, well, it wouldn't be easy to communicate.
Something about production is not quite right. For 7-8 hours playing, research points production (RPP), instead of having 42-48M i would get only 30 or something. I when i calculated it all, it wasn't going "up" as it should've been. Have done 2 tests. My RPP is 1710, should get 1M every 585s. But first test gave me 960k in 585s. Have repeated test half hour later, now it gave me only 870k in 585s. My RPP is stable, it's not fluctuating. And this is not only with RPP, i have calculated it on other production, when i sleep i get only 70-85% of what i should get. My guess is your threading system (i could be wrong). If you have done it like "1. calculate production (divide by 10 because 100ms), 2. start another after 100ms" it will not work good. Because calculating production has it's duration too, threads that repeat themselves in intervals should not be influenced by their execution. One correct way is "1. get time (T1), 2. calculate, 3.get time (T2) 4. start again in 100-(T2-T1)"
Importing a save will always diminish plastic and nanotubes production. Idk why, but you see the problem is, if i import something from yesterday i get around 250x multiplier, and.. plastic and nanotubes don't work like they should do. My plastic production in Antirion is 372. When i get 250x multiplier, insted of it going 93k it goes on 30 per second, not k, just 30. And i get 900 plastic for 60 seconds instead of 5.5M. Same goes for nanotubes. Sometimes production of these 2 brakes even without importing. Have been able to reproduce it with importing (every time so far), but i don't know why it sometimes happens on it's own in middle of the gameplay.
@wdalton351 If you play it right, you can conquer a planet every day, or every second day later, on average. I've been playing the game for 8 days and I have 9 planets, hope 10 in couple of hours. Not to mention that game is fairly easier to play now due to research and resources production buffs. Order of planets i conquered were Antirion-TheCity-Lagea-Tataridu-Zelera. My next stop is MiselQuris. Don't forget about ammo, if you produce it in TheCity and couple of other planets, you can get pretty nasty amounts of it which will vastly boost your fleets. For example 1000 Bayagas have 0.6M power. Load them with 50M ammo, you will get a beast fleet with cca 30M power, just like that.
@ferrans3 while it would be good to see some improvements on the automatic route GUI, you can acomplish some of those aspects by naming your fleet in a fashion "Plastic Antirion->Vasilis". That way, if you manage your fleets from planet's perspective it is very useful. Damn, I would give my right arm for chat room for this game :D
@del1809982 Ammo is used (later) for ship construction. But it can be used as power amplifier. Every point of ammo gives you 0,0001% fleet power. Basically 1M of ammo gives 100% bonus to power. It is pretty useful later, you put 30M of it in your fleet, it gives you 30x power multiplier.
@SirLanzelot you need graphite/hydrogen/plastic and a lot of energy for nanotubes production. As for researches - I think it is material XV
@Cheslava @Villandra I have the same situation all the time. If you send some fleet somewhere there is a short indicator "Fleet will arrive in...", and then immediately try to load another with resources, event that removes that indicator will remove the Load UI as well. Basically, removing indicator removes popup UI.
@diaos1 as you will learn playing idle games - export is your best friend in the world. Have been playing idle games for few years, few times i lost data from games i played 4-5 months.. I've learned my lesson, export 2 times per day, or at least once. Generally, using history cleanup in browsers or ccleaner is almost guaranteed to delete your data.
@kjemikar Seems your data is corrupted, NaN is indicator "not a number". That's why "reaching" destination could be broken as well. Try merging or dividing the fleet, it could help, but don't merge with some big fleet, rather merge with one normal ship because there is possibility it will corrupt the merged fleet as well.
@joshzu Yes that is possible on planets that have ice "mining" x2.00. It is probably a bug because planet's bonus should be only about mining.
@ryeguy417 if you come close to some "unlock" (not sure how close, i think 4-5 research upgrades) it will show itself in under the needed research. If i remember correctly, you need geology VI for titanium :)
@dem_gnomes Buttons are set that way so the GUI wouldn't be empty, sure you could move Research in the top center but bottom left would be empty. Developer is constantly working on UI reshapement, don't worry about it :)
@mrnogame averages were jumping until the last update. It is fixed now, if you have fluctuations then that means your production is not set right (production depending on certain resources will fluctuate if you don't have enough of that resource)
@hyperjag7 New Babilo is not supposed to be conquered yet. Conquer Antirion and The City. Research another stellar travel and the right order of conquering would be Lagea->Tataridu. After another research go Zelera. Don't try to win against Aurora, you will just sacrifice too much progress. If you have exported the save with 100k ships, import it and go on Lagea :)
I've just conquered Zelera. I wanted to produce robots but i don't know how. There is no mention of Robots in Research so i don't know what i need to do to unlock them. I'm tired of plastic dependent ships, would like to build destroyers as soon as possible, can someone help me?
Yeah idle bonus will give you 50% of production
