I have now stopped getting any souls. I have minions working at 18 nonillion per second and the new souls dial says 0. Even if I save and restart the entire browser, nothing happens. Now I'm apparently stuck with 10 trillion souls and can't get any more.
Why must every tutorial force me to buy and upgrade something? I know they are basic upgrades, but I want to make the decision when I'm playing the game.
Guide to hard mode: First weapon you need is the magic wand. Few upgrades on this and then you buy your first sniper rifle. Always do level 2-3 updates before you buy another friend. Order you need is 1. wand, 2. sniper, 3. sniper, 4. ice gun, 5. axe, 6. axe, 7. axe 8. axe and on the very last level sell wand and buy an axe. When you have everyone, upgrade weapons to level 4 and then start upgrading one guy at the time to 5. You don't need speed above 2 and range above 3 on pretty much any guy. On the ice guy just upgrade it's special and nothing else.
The Warp Core is a big FU to the player. After completing the level 25 you still won't get anything from it.
The game is hard enough already even without the improved 2.0 versions in the boss run. It just makes the game too frustrating to be fun. The game either requires a much easier casual mode for those who just want to complete the game and play for fun and an insane mode for those who really like bullet hell games. Just make sure if you do this that the easy mode is not crippled at any point.
I finally got hipsters in my inn. I did it as a last thing and had a big 5 star +100 place. After I put red decrease markers on every other kind of visitor I started to get hipsters. Apparently they come if no one else is welcome.
Here is the list of achievements:
#1-#5: Complete corresponding level. #6: Stroke your vulpin for 2 minutes. #7: Learn all spells (15 spells, some are bought, some are from bossess and some from black and white dragons in the last map). #8: Find all hidden colors (4 colors, one in every first four level). #9: Max all stats. #10: Only available on Flash Game Nexus site.
To get the hard badge, here is what you do:
Day 1: 2x band, 2x launcher. Try to get as much money as possible
Day 2: Parachute (this is mandatory). Parachute is important, as you need it to get a huge multiplier from hang time.
Day 3: E-rockets and as much band+launcher as you can. Repeat day 2, but get high multiplier from height using rockets.
Day 4: Buy band and launcher. Rinse and repeat
Day 5: Hit the moon
To get 5 stars you need 1000 happiness. To get it you should find a guy very early on with about +25 combined bonus. Keep him until the end of game collecting all bonus items and you get the last achievement.
The fouth installment is a bit annoying. The difficulty is ramped up to accomodate the purchase of extra bonuses. This makes it a very hard experience for those who choose not to use money on flash games.
The last level was extremely tough, until I realized one thing. By placing two mortars on the cliff to bombard the chasm will make the creeps stop completely.
Horrendous lag, lack of even the smallest jump, enemy bullets barely visible on the light background and cards ripped from Magic the Gathering... All and all, it is still a very fun game.
