Alright, so gladiator mode, in my opinion, is best with Toldor. The hardest opponents for him: The swordsman, you have to back up and try to slice the swordsman, and pray he won't reach you in a shield charge. The other longswordsman are perhaps the most dangerous. You have to shield yourself, cuz apparently in later levels your damage and their health dies out. Attack when yous see he's vulnerable, such as after doing the running thrust. Finally there's the halberd. He is fairly easy to kill once you get the trick down: shield yourself until he charges past you, then kick him and swipe, and quickly shield yourself again.
