Great game! I enjoyed it. It has been a while since there was an enjoyable game posted. No way in hell I'm going to try and achieve the "Patience" achievements, though.

Developer response from LLGD

Thanks for playing!! Haha, there were some players who already reported getting all the achievements :)

Needs work. Definitely remove the "push to blast up" option and just allow up, down, left, right directional controls. Great setup on end-game rewards. You did a great job keeping the money rewards balanced with upgrades and plenty of upgrades.

VasantJ, I remember your prologue version of this game a few months back. Let me give you MONEY, dammit! :D How can I contribute to your funds so you can focus more on this game?

Thank you very much for a very well done bullet hell game. I did not think it was easy. I thought it was the perfect balance between hard and easy. It is pretty much impossible to beat the game unless you upgrade lots of stuff lots of times. Please make a part 2. I beg you. I want to 5 star that one, too.

Developer response from decafpanda

Thx for the play and feedback. I think having a healthy mix of people saying, "too hard", "too easy" and "just right" is all a developer can ask for. Part2? Well, first it would be nice to make some updates to this game, then a sequel to another game I made or I was thinking of giving a Mobile game a shot. We shall see!

I want another game just like this but much much longer and the ability to earn more "upgrades" by killing a larger percentage of enemies per level. Less of a focus on classic arcade high score and more on a focus of diversity, replay-ability, and skill. Still a great short game.

Developer response from decafpanda

Thanks! Next game will have 5 longer levels each with there own enemy types and boss. Kills will grant coins that can be spent on upgrades after the level is over. Players will have the option to replay any level at anytime if they need to earn more gold to purchase upgrades. I still will keep high scoring but for each individual level, giving the high score completionist something to strive for. I also have a trick up my sleeve as far as powerups go too. Thanks for the play :)

Cont'd: 4. Vastly improve the custom weapon build option. Make weapons customizable and of differing types. In fact, the end game weapons should be the custom weapons: make it to where the pre-fab weapons hit a ceiling but are still good enough to barely beat the game). Eliminate the crystal system and, instead, make it a money system. Make it more expensive the more attributes you put into a certain category. 5. Greatly overhaul the bosses. Add skill to boss fights. Remove the ability for bosses to wipe out your ship equipment. Make it to where players can dodge attacks and gunfire by memorizing patterns and looking for "about to attack" behaviors form the bosses. Those elements are slightly there, already...but not matured. The lengthy game (too many levels) is not a problem as long as there is some sort of variety to the game and a continued "upgrade" pace. Still loved this game. Thanks for it!

Got to Danger (level) 54 before I got bored. Here are ways to improve the game: 1. Create clear and customizable upgrade paths that will max out slightly before the last level for those who like to hit all the planets (in other words, reward players for being completionists but also make the game have a quick path for impatient players). 2. Increase the amount of money that can be earned. Combined with #1, players should have quite a bit of things to upgrade. The money should flow in fast enough to where a player can have the latest and greatest weapon but not fill the whole ship with it. 3. To add to #2, allow players to grind old levels to earn more "in-game-currency." This rewards players who put in the time to grind. So if players want to max out all available slots with the latest weapon upgrade, let them grind 5 previous levels to do so.

Okay, I had time to play a little bit more. I pushed my score to around 6 million. My primary weapon DPS was 4000 and secondary was like 8000 (I don't remember). I was using the second ship. Just fly away and teleport as fast as you can as you start the mission. Then turn around and periodically kill enemies. Keep flying backwards.

Okay, I upgraded stuff to around level 45. There is a max on the drive: 150 on maneuverability. My weapon has a DPS of 2400 and my secondary has a DPS of 3200. I cannot die, now. I just avoid most of the fire, fly away, and kill them. My score is around a million and I'm thinking of quitting. Great game. Needs more to it. Missions. Characters. A story. And a more polished equipment and upgrade system.

I must say, I played this game, completely, twice. (Well, not all of it: I did not unlock the last character). This is definitely one of the best bullet hell games made. Funny that this is the case since it is considered a "quick spin-off" game from the Epic Battle Fantasy series. It's like a mini-game to EBF. This is why I continue to give kupo and that group "Kreds."

The movement speed need to be removed. I give up on trying the insane difficulty. In bullet hell type games, I'm used to using my reflexes.

Here is a very helpful tip for people at the beginning and mid-points of the your current game (including at the start of new veteran levels): Quickly upgrade your damage on your equipment and invest all your skill points into combat. Once you reach around level 20-30, reset your skill points, invest them all in wealth. Turn up the enemies to the max level your character can fight them and not die against elites. Then let the game sit for 8 hours. Set all of your equipment to refine except for legendary weapons. When you come back, you should have about 3-4, each, of the legendary equipment. It will only cost you gold to upgrade them: no gems required to upgrade a legendary item. You should have more than enough gold to upgrade the equipment of your choosing. Use the other tips other players have suggested in this thread in combination with mine. Basically, only upgrade your legendary equipment and only use a legendary, very fast hitting, legendary weapon.

Decent game if this was 1999-2001. Perhaps hire or recruit a level designer and game designer to improve things. Your math systems worked great so I think you're doing great there. Now you just need to introduce someone to this type of game that can improve things such as quests and level design. Presto, a neat Web-Based RPG game is born that engages the players. Improve those areas and you could sell a game like that on steam for $5-$10. :)

5/5. Was an excellent waste of my time. It is tough to find decent wastes of time, these days, while at work. The only thing this game could use is an upgrade system that would allow the player to become stronger. Attributes such as, "Faster Travel Time" or "Faster Planet Takeover Time". Allow the player to upgrade those attributes multiple times, allow the player to grind previous levels to earn XP to spend on those attributes, and watch the next installment of this game move from "pretty good game" to "legendarily great online game."

The game did well to balance the upgrades and the amount of money that can be earned for upgrades. The upgrades were meaningful and useful, as well. This makes this a pretty dang good game.

Excellent game. The power-scaling for the player was very well done. It was tough in the beginning but some grinding made it easier and easier until it become a piece of cake. Very few developers understand proper pacing. The only thing I did not like about this game is how short it was. It needed about twice as many levels (and for the enemy strength to gradually increase across all 26 levels like they currently do for the 13). Still, 5/5.

Great game because of how polished it is. Sure, it could use more depth or a story but this is a one-man shop. I look forward to the next installment. Add some special features that cost like $5-$10 and I'll buy them to show support.

This game was really fun. It definitely needs some polish. But don't waste your time on this game: make a Caribbean Admiral 2!!!!!!! This game is so close to a 5 star game. Just a few minor things that were annoying (such as not being able to see the HP of the Sails an Crew but only see the HP of the Hull) but not enough to ruin the game by any stretch. Thanks xXn00bhunterXx, for a great game. :D
