I have almost stockpiled the 531k purple stars to rank someone up to max... are there any tier lists out there for what's best to max out first? I had been doing knight/archer for longest time but understand they may not be the recommended top tier to have.
Oh yay, another incremental idle upgrades game with new badges! Can't wait to leave it open for weeks beside all the other incremental idle upgrade games to achieve these "hard" badges... my poor computer.
Did a bunch of junior developer students get an assignment to submit idle games to Kongregate for badging? And did Kongregate's badging team get assignments to add at least 5 badges to each idle game they come across?
Kong badge indicates "reach wave 100" but the actual trigger seems to be "beat wave 100". Fun game for casual play, I like that failing doesn't send you back to wave 1 just back to the nearest 10th wave.
@ARBITERREX it seems if you check the comments on this particular game, many people are flagging the issues with badges not being triggered, not being tested etc.
If you want to connect regarding the many other games where the community seems to collectively be unsupportive of the difficulty assigned, the conditions not being viable, or whether certain badges should exist at all - send me a message I am happy to list some of them!
For some of the long-time players, seeing these new badges being created without actually testing/considering the criteria makes the badging approach seem broken.
Sorry but gotta make it a 1-star until badges function as intended. Dev - please flag to Kongregate badges team that they need to incorporate a step of reviewing community feedback (through comments I guess since forums don't exist for most games) into their badging decisions and troubleshooting.
Thank you for revising the new badges to be reasonable - although I don't think they were necessary, they were much better than the impossible pay-to-earn badges. :)
Revising rating to 1 star until new badge issue is resolved. Dev - please flag to your kongregate contact that the community is frustrated with their awful badging decisions the past few months, since they seem to not review any comments or community inputs.
@ericbloedow - the only place it shows is on the Map page - beside your current # energy is the countdown box to next energy. I agree not the best place for it.
I usually only comment to complain but, after about 2hours of play, I am thoroughly enjoying the gameplay. I can see where the grinding will be to replay over and over to slowly boost, but I get that's the intentional design and appreciate that the small incremental buffs will make the game easier to progress the more I play.
Thanks to whomever added the badges to a game, they don't seem to be ridiculous like some other recent ones, so much appreciated!
I am honored that my game is worthy of a positive comment from you :). I'm glad you are enjoying it, and I hope you continue to enjoy it for a long time! There are many updates with new content coming to keep the game fun and engaging for everyone :).
if you're able to win a battle a second and have unlimited energy, you're still looking at 278hours to reach the 1million kills badge. Now layer on the energy recharging, and all the other encounters... a game like this might be worth that many hours in 2010 when I got the original badges but come on...
Why is "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" the main theme song? Did they do an Xmas event and forget to remove that or is the game ripping off common Xmas themes or what?
If you didn't save the game, check to see if your browser cleared its cache or turned on Traceless mode.
