Love the new patch, being able to use those healing potions for something is great. The only problem with it is having to actually equip the items you want to transmute so you might want to change that in your next patch. Love the tooltip info though I have a question with it. Does the tooltip on minions give just the base information or the actual information? Meaning when it says a minion lives for 30 seconds does that take into account our defense protecting them so they live longer? (Or at least it should, I haven't noticed attack or defense improving the minions at all even though it's supposed to.) If it's just the base information then you might want to consider changing that so we can see the improvement in our minions from our stats as well like "30 secs (+5)" to show our defense lets them live for an extra 5 seconds.
I would say either make a transmutation to turn the other materials into coal or switch around the rarity of coal and the other materials. I mean it doesn't make much sense for the one item that is needed for all crafting to be the rarest item, if anything it would make more sense for the material required to craft a particular item class to be rare instead of the coal.
Game does slow down as you progress so that is one thing you need to fix, also I think it would be a bit better if you just clicked a spot and your character went there rather than having to hold down the button to go anywhere. AI could be better, both for the humans and the zombies. I don't feel comfortable rating it right now since you say it's still under development but if I did rate it right now I would probably give it a 2/5.
Getting ahead of corporatski is actually pretty easy since he is a dumb and buys things that don't actually help him much, mainly the stuff that increases your "looks" and a house that doesn't actually speed up energy regeneration so it's useless as well as cars that multiply how much you get from clicking work, but since working is limited to how much energy you have it is also basically useless for making any significant money in the long run. Just play the stock market right and spend money on investments and you will inevitably pass him.
I played the first Solarmax game and I loved it for the most part so I was pretty excited to play this one, that excitement was quickly replaced with a sense of disappointment and annoyance. You could probably remove the strategy tag from this game because there is very little of it, the AI pretty much always sends 100% of their ships from their planets and they run at the first sign of a bigger fleet heading their way so it becomes a matter of chasing the enemy down which is a test of your reaction speed half the time with the somewhat clunky controlls rather than your strategic skills. I can see how this game would be a ton better with a touchscreen. When a game is only difficult because of annoying reasons the game itself just becomes annoying to play. It has potential but as is I can't say I enjoy playing this game at all, I would rather play the original. If I could I would give this a 2.5/5 but since I can't I'm more inclined to give it a 2/5 than a 3/5.
My first impression is that this game doesn't know whether it wants to be an upgrade/simulation/button clicker game or if it wants to be an idle game, having energy that limits your actions is a feature that doesn't really feel right in an idle game. More so because of the fact that energy regeneration is so slow. Eventually from what I've seen so far I could get to the point where energy doesn't regenerate fast enough for me to even keep upgrading my education... One thought was perhaps since you upgrade your character in so many ways maybe you could add a gym feature where we buy gym memberships that speed up energy regeneration to a certain extent. I understand wanting to limit the spamming of that work button and not make it super easy but I think perhaps you over did it.
If you have problems getting lost you could try what I do to strip mine entire maps. Once you have the best pick all you do is go to the top of the map and go to the furthest point of one side. Then start heading to the other side, everytime you come across a shop simply make a shaft under the shop down to the bottom of the map, that way no matter what depth you are at you know where the shops are.
Pretty good game, unlike some other people I don't think it's slow at all, we don't need more games where you can't do anything unless you have like 67,948,567,384,206 quadrillion dollars or something like that. The pace is pretty good as is if you have any kind of patience. The only thing I feel is kinda bad is that you can't turn any of the auto pipes off, I had to reset before because I bought the double barrel upgrade and quickly was making way more products than my PP production could handle. It could also really use some goals or in game achievements to keep us playing past just trying to get a high score.
Pretty nice game, I don't really think it's idle though given how slowly a tick goes by and the cost to upgrade that speed... The one thing I really wish it had though... commas. Seriously, good luck reading a number like 16487512349251842761954318 without commas.
Yea it lags pretty badly, I do have an older computer but for a game that doesn't seem to have a ton of graphics or anything having it run between 3 and 4 FPS is just pathetic, I'll look at it again in a few weeks but yea, right now it's just not even playable.
Could use a quality button to lower the quality for people like me that have older computers and the game runs kinda slow. Also... where is the Craft in IdleCraft?
Huh... an idle game whose idle function doesn't work... roflmao. Tried several things, refreshed several times, but no matter what my co2/s was... my co2 still stayed at the same number unless I clicked the fire. Could have been interesting and apparently based on these comments the game must work for other people but it sure as hell doesn't work for me so all I can do is rate it based on what I see. 1/5
Definitely much better than the original version, many of the problems have been fixed. Two major things still need to be worked on. First of all you shouldn't have to scroll all over the place just to see your various types of resources, having to manage that many resource types is pretty nice and gives this game some depth but they should all be viewable in one fixed location that you can always see. Second... save feature. You've said you will add it and that it's last on your list but I really think it should be much higher up since this game isn't super short and a lot of people aren't going to sit down and play it for the couple of hours it takes to beat it, adding more content will only make the lack of a save feature even more annoying.
Right, so I load it up and although I don't know anything about bitcoining I can see there are a few "resources" USD, GHs, and kWH... however I can't see anywhere how much of any of those things I have. Pictures I can live without but not being able to see how much of stuff I have so I have no idea where to even start is a pretty major problem. I understand you are having issues with kong but I certainly hope you work out the interface issues before you reupload the game to kong. Since this is basically a demo as you said I will refrain from rating it, but if this was the final version I would honestly give it 0/5 because it just can't function like this.
Hmm, it seems the last time I played I somehow got the game bugged. If I remember correctly what happened was I went to the village but it was lagging a lot for me (I was having some internet problems so I don't think that was the games fault) and I think I was having a problem with the game where I usually right click on it as soon as it loads and set the quality to low so it runs smoother. I right clicked I think on the black screen and suddenly the village loaded but I couldn't actually click on anything and in my money it said ".NaN M" Eventually I just closed it and hoped it would fix it. Well I just got on an I can say that it didn't fix it. My money is still bugged and I can't buy anything or make money. You might want to look into that either for an update or to make sure it doesn't happen with Idle Farmer 2. I'll probably reset my save, I don't mind that much but yea a lot of people might get pretty upset if that happens to them.
Like a lot of others I feel like it's fine to be inspired by a game and use a lot of features of that game, but you've got to at least put in one or two things that other game doesn't have... Also I felt like once you max out your evolution and everybody is on an even playing field the game became pretty easy, there was only like one or two missions where I didn't win in 30 seconds or less after I maxed everything.
Game is too buggy. The sound was rather annoying so I turned it off, and because of that the tutorial battle didn't work at all, I basically summoned a unit and it froze. After trying a bunch of stuff I just went back to the menu and turned the music back on and it seemed to work... but often units would just stand around doing nothing for no reason, I actually had a pair of spearmen that just completely disappeared off the battlefield for no reason at all. Right now I have to give it a 1/5
What?! Thanks for your feedback, but I'm pretty baffled now. I never encountered any of these errors in a thousand playtests, nor did any of my testers O_o .
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I have no clue what went wrong in your case :( .
ugh... ok well Kong ate the html stuff so yea anyways without the formatting it was this part of code: button onclick="show2()" style="visibility: show" id="g2"
Damage and Defense improving minions was temporarly removed due to a major bug. It will return later on.
