How to win: Get 5 Black Samurai from Echigo and 5 Ghost Bowman. Put all of your skills into "Patriotism" and "Art of War". Just hide behind your men. You will be able to go through almost the entire game only losing 1 unit. (Note: Black Samurai cost 5000. Get Bowman first.) For those who lack common sense such as myself, DO NOT BUY THE 20000 HORSE! The Far East's units are all on foot for a reason. You will only be able to use a shuriken on horseback.
Some bugs you might want to fix: the tank lags and commands are executed too late, causing your tank to go out of control. selling weapons sometimes gives you no money back and makes you lose everything.
With the proper tactics, this game is simple. Completely upgrade command points and use only companion cavalry. Send them out in waves. Once you have defeated Cappadocia take Armenia. Medea is mostly infantry so you can easily defeat them. Invade Persia and you will no longer have to worry about attack unless there is already a general in play. You can then take over every other country at your own speed. After Persia it is a good idea to invade Babylonia, they are the second richest. Once you have enough money max out all tech and you will be invincible. Make sure to purchase cavalry tactics as soon as possible. The game was easy after you had the proper strategy. It was very fun. 5/5
Great game, but it gets boring after a while. At a certain point you can just lose all of your pots and defend just one. Getting auto makes the game quite boring. You can just sit down and hold the leftclick down until the wave is over and keep on upgrading that weapon.
