don't you just love all the comments of people telling the developer how to improve their game? like when they give a rating and say they will rate higher when the developer gives in to his demands.... for god sakes people, rate the game on what it is, not what you expect the perfect game to be. I'M LOOKING AT YOU 666Shadow666. It's hard making a game.... if you want that stuff, make your own.
@jamesGarvey: i figured out how to control the camera. It turns out you need to click in the mouse wheel to turn it in other directions. For those who don't have a mouse wheel: your screwed.... sorry for being so blunt.
love the game itself.... but until there is a button to restart levels when you mess up.... i cant see me finishing it. its too easy to lose a necessary pillar. so.... 3/5
ok.... just checked again, and it seems to be going back and forth between 7 poison dmg, and 24. This is obviously a glitch.... just not the one i thought it was...?
found a problem with the poison tower. When u level it up to max, instead of having the poison dmg go up to 25 as its listed, it goes DOWN.... to seven, making it much weaker, then its weaker versions.
Last year which is when i finished this project i couldnt be bothered but now as im aging i have gained maturity and a heart to make good games and to please!
The problem with ships going around the planet to get to a target really isn't a problem with path finding. I notice that the ships taking the long way around the planet are constantly trying to turn into the planet (until they get about half way around). This is cause they are trying to turn around but the presence of the planet is preventing them. In Essence, this is really a problem with the collisions of objects, not path finding.
tip for very quick money making: get the laser weapon, and upgrade the sideways lasers.... then use this on the asteroid levels. if your laser can kill the asteroids on a particular level in a very short time, just stick to one side of the level and the laser will essentially stay at the top and destroy everything on contact.
I really like this game, but there is one serious flaw that i've seen that makes the game not worth playing. When multiple types of enemies appear on the screen at the same time, the turrets seem to take priority over the more powerful ones, rather then the ones closest to your base. due to this, the faster (weaker) enemies wont get attacked until the rest catch up. this allows them to do considerable damage, until the first enemy is killed, at which point, the turrets will only target the most powerful enemies in range. Good game, but due to some serious drawbacks, can only give a 2/5. Plz + so developer can see.
Adds a new and interesting twist to a relatively stale genre. Not saying TD games aren't fun, i'm just saying its rare for someone to bring something new to the table. Great Job 5/5. Hope to see more develop from this stunning example of a game.
@Pooploops : just so you know, in a game like this, u can actually move the pieces around and even place them back where they were off of the play area. So.... a reset button would be kind of redundant.
