It seems some people couldn't figure out that you needed to draw a circle on the opening screen to start the game....probably could be explained better in the instructions.
johnny, since you asked...I'd guess people want a save button so they don't have to restart the next time they play. I can't say that's warranted though since there's only 10 races. Very well put together game, 5/5 and favorited. If there's a sequel...buying individual component upgrades (shocks, engine, tires, body kit, et cetera) would be cool...and maybe a choice of colors instead of being stuck with red. Track length is great, more tracks might make for more long-term playability though.
Thirster42...that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. However, this is vintage 80's, not 90's style graphics...and very Tron-ish, btw. Nicely done, and a refreshing change of pace compared to the average cookie-cutter game that all too many are. Well done!
Each battle takes entirely too long, and there are entirely too many battles in these campaigns. This is an extremely well done game made repetively boring and dull due to length, an otherwise good time ruined by overkill. Not to mention that there are way too many zeps. If there were half as much to complete I'd say 5/5. As is, 1/5...only because there isn't an option for a 0. Badge, Easy, Medium & Hard completed, and the Impossible isn't worth the time investment. I'd rather watch paint dry. Sorry.
30 down, 44 to go. This is a *long*, but challenging yet frustrating game. Would love to see it slightly easier *or* slightly shorter (not both). As is though, 5/5
Only one person can play against the computer at a time????? And then, when the computer accepts my invite, as soon as I try to do anything it invites random other players on my behalf?????
Too much gravity, imho. I'm not really fond of "combo required" games, and this one requires too many for my liking...and no combo on vehicles? boo hiss.
Gotta admit, I would like a save feature...depending on how far the game goes (went four or five levels before dying. How long is the game, does it even warrant a save button???). Also, maybe it was just me, or maybe this is some kind of glitch: when I went to use an arrow but changed my mind and switched to sword before the mana was totally highlighted, he would try to throw an arrow everytime I went to attack with the sword...that ultimately got me killed :( and btw...I discovered that not all items have the same attributes (even though they have the same name) by accident (i.e. two elite helms might have different properties). That might've been nicer to know in advance, but I figured it out pretty quick. 5/5 and Favorited. Nice work!
Ok...um...so when my castle blows up, I'm dead. Yet I destroy the other castle and still lose? Doesn't seem right. And btw, after 20 minutes+, the initial fun became predictable and tedious.
The thing that really rubs me the wrong way about this game is the "slice objectives" and the special synergies such as connecting *any* red with *any* sol. Most of the time I have to use all the regular deals and TWO bonus deals just to get one or the other. Add checkpoints, or a save, or fewer objectives or something. I've played this game more times than I dare try to count and have only been past level 10 once. And I really, really wish we could change our minds and remove a piece from the ring every once in a while; that would help out some. This game is a great concept, but is presented in a way which takes every ounce of fun out of it.
These mission objectives detract from gameplay and are rather ridiculous!
Last level...Survive 10 minutes??? Get real. The targeting crosshair blends in with the gray opponents...not very sporting.
A fun concept, ruined by game objectives. Have badge, won't be back. What would have been a 4/5 gets the lowly 1/5.
Hmmm...I only have a machine gun and there's this bad guy with a shield. I basically have to forfeit and restart an *entire* campaign. *Not fair, not fun*. Boo! I'll give you credit for being sneaky and making us think though. Wish I could restart where I'm at and not lose 20+ minutes of effort. That blows, and I'm adjusting my rating accordingly.
