"Dragon on dungeon, can't evolve." Except... it's not. No dungeon running and the dragon in question is assigned somewhere else anyway. I have multiple (way more than 3) dragons with this problem.
This is very minor, but has jumped out (and minorly irritated me) enough times that I want to suggest... on the main battle screen, the order of characters is ninja, wizard, paladin. On the experience assigning screen, it's reversed. Change it on the xp screen to ninja, wizard, paladin. =P
Ah I see. I ordered the buttons left to right in the skills screen since that was the order you unlock the characters. I'm okay with changing the button order but at this point I'm going to need more input on what everyone's preferences are - the thing that worries me most is if enough people prefer the current way of displaying, after a change, they would now feel that it is out of place. So it's a bit of a conflicting decision here.
Suggestions for future patches: "Enchanter" skill caps at 10 + (2xnum of ascensions). All skills should probably do something like this, actually. Increase drop rate of blue gems, somewhat dramatically. Each ascension should also increase all gear caps, even if just a little bit. Maybe put diminishing returns for stuff like attack delay. And the faster spawning skill at 5/5 should be much faster, I think. Damn near instant would be much better. Zipping through trivial content is not ridiculous. Ultra over-kills should be pow-pow-pow fast, I think!
The bloodstone does increase its max level to 7 after a few ascensions which reduces the spawn timer to about as fast as you can attack as I also felt that trivial content should be 'skippable' easily. :)
The trick to advancing is working on your science max, and then buying interns. BUT NEVER USING ALL OF THEM. If you have e100 interns, use up to e98/e98, but wait for more science to turn that e100 into e107 or whatever, and then use e105 of them. Save the max to build on tomorrow.
We can enter an amount to buy in addition to the all and 50% buttons, how about being able to enter arbitrary percentages ("5.5%"), engineering or sci notation ("1e12"), and "up to an amount", like "@1e12" would buy whatever amount was needed to get 1e12 total as a resulting total on hand? Great game, one of the better incrementals to come along in months.
It is incredibly annoying trying to click something and then accidentally choose some random skill because you leveled and it popped up a skill choice screen with no warning at all. There are no explanations for areas like woodcutting, and the game is a seriously slow starter. Not a fan, not even a little bit.
Why prices of other things go up isn't intuitive at all and is kind of off-putting. I really don't want to play a game if I can't readily figure out why something I haven't bought increased in price after buying something else.
Did not rate as high as I otherwise would have because of the requirement to export/import from game's official site. A 'full' version would have deserved and gotten a higher rating.
Need faster way to upgrade cells, and also some sort of visual cue to show what cells need upgrading, what level cells are at in the three attributes, etc.
Interesting and compelling concept, though. What are bees for? I forgot already, but I guess I'll buy some. (Achievement, yeah, but anything else?)
Bees increase fill rate and harvest value for ALL cells (current layer). Next update will show more info about cells, bees, layers, layer bonus etc. I appreciate the feedback!
I asked for this on /r/swarmsim last night but I'll do it here too: in addition to typing in 1e6 (and the suggested 1m) in the quantity-to-purchase box, I would very much like to have " n% " as an option too. 1%, 11%, some custom percentage of maximum allowable purchase quantity. This would be sweeeeeeet!
Bug: Competed with the rock band to get the price down to around $500k, which is also what the manager costs. I went to look at the manager price and see if I could buy him before getting the band, and he wasn't there any more. I bought the band, and can't buy the manager, and have to manually operate the band. Manager still hasn't shown up. I'll try a reload, but this seems at least somewhat important.
Raelly wish the game wasn't crammed into a scrolling div, and rather was allowed to dictate page length. Other than that, love the standalone, love this version. (except long ascends!)
Really wish you would enable quality settings. Other than that, I like it. Feels like a 'real' idle - can ignore for $timePeriod without feeling like I'm not being optimal. Come back, spend money, repeat.
What kind of lag are you seeing? Some users with massive lag spikes every few seconds can fix it by increasing their storage space for flash saves (right click, Settings, Local Storage)
how do you sell without leaving the planet/moon you're zoomed in on? This is annoying enough to move this game into the 'unplayable' category, which is a shame because I can tell it's got some work in it, and a lot of potential.
The highest/best staff should also cause you to start with all spawn upgrades (tier and tick improvements via 'mastery') complete. A restart at that point means you automatically have enough money to complete those upgrades, so you have to do it every time. Or add a "buy all increases" button so you don't have to click 21 times per spawn type.
Having a .5 or 1 second transition (the swords going into and out of the shields) after every interaction is kind of annoying. Ok, not kind of. Really.
we just fix the bug, please try to re-play the game again. Thank you for playing our games
