Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but sometimes I seem to have a very slow energy gain. Slower than 1e/8m. Does stress play a hand in this? I just gained one energy in about 10-20 minutes.
There's a game-wide script that runs on a cron job which restores 1 energy to everyone every 8 minutes. It won't be exact, but it definitely won't be off by anywhere near that much.
This is a pretty good game, great use of the Unity engine. My only complaint so far is that it tends to be really hard to see the aiming reticule and you generally have to judge your shots by where your arm is pointing.
I apologize ahead of time if I don't make sense, but I've had this idea that the methods characters use to play for or against a bill could go into some sort of stat and your character could become known for personality quirks concerning them that are shown on biography type things that might grow as the character does.
That's kind of a neat idea. Thing is, it would require a lot of tracking and storage space, and I'm still not really sure how the game will perform under heavier loads. We've had much heavier loads in the past without issues, but I'd like to get the game up and running as 1.0.0 first with The Lobby and more people being active on both before I add potentially performance-degrading features (though cool they may be).
I think I found a workaround the text load not letting you have achievements - it seems to work for me. If you use the text load, you should be able to save the game properly, then you should be able to refresh the game and use that save to load it, voila, can get achievements again. Not wholly tested though so please test this yourself and pass the info on if it works, or inform otherwise if it doesn't.
"New Feature: If you lost your save data but you uploaded a base to SW Battle, you can get the text save data by clicking on the “Your Submitted Bases” tab in the SW Battle screen." do so, cannot connect to playtomic, screwed.
My biggest issue with this game is the actual assembly of a formation. there's no real way to tell what will fit where and you always have to rearrange everything outward so you can put something towards the base, then put everything back. And sometimes a turret on the right has more space taken up than the same turret on the left. bugs the crap out of me. but I love this game anyway.
Kinda sucks that you can't upgrade your troops without beating new levels or somethin apparently, at least at the start. This makes beatin even the second level just a liiiiiiittle bit hard.
Hm...dark sprites, completely unable to be targeted but there isn't enough cooldown time for traps to kill the condensed line of them. Might need a bit of rebalancing on that.
Some suggestions: Trap cooldown reset on Send Wave button hit, possible 'alternate path' line that shows where the path will go when you block it, when you upgrade the litlte menu to sell/upgrade stays until clicked away from. Other things: Perhaps upgrade 'trees'.
There is some serious balancing issues here or somethin when my enemies can spawn 3 mechs in 30 seconds and 3 squads of maxed ZZ Kommandos and a lvl 2 Helga altogether focused on one of them can't take it out.
So I saw that you planned to take energy out of zones last month, but I still have to spend energy on islands and stuff. Was wondering the progress on this removal.
yeah... though, its targets are theoretical electoral opponents of yours without names... so it's kind of a tough call what to put there.
