Game runs for crap when there are a bunch of enemies on the screen. Guy won't move, attack brackets don't show up, special attack moves don't register. I shouldn't have to upgrade my PC to play a clicky flash game.
Same annoying control delay, same lack of mute, same background swinging back and forth depending on where you face, same 1/5 rating.
But his hair is also still is awesome.
FURTHERMORE when this piece of crap doesn't give a badge, you can't even screencapture it because there's no indication to point to of "finishing a level" with a given amount of squiggles, and when you defeat the penguin it immediately boots you to the intro screen. Die in a fire. And add a goddamned mute for the sound effects as well as the music, scum.
I wish you had put as much effort into ensuring the controls made the little dude do what you command him to do as you did in making sure his hair is displayed perfectly when he's bouncing around. Oh, know what else is nice? Not having the goddamned camera swing from side to side when you turn from left to right so you can't tell how fast you're going... particularily with the above mentioned issue with command lag and phantom keypresses making him run when nothing is pushed. Ohh, and the lovely spiders stopping and trundling along in midair when they lose course -- that's outstanding.
This game makes me want to vote all other games a 5 just so the 1 I vote for it will force it down lower in comparision.
Customizing your charactor and giving him hair makes some levels inpassable because the hair becomes part of the guy and it will stop your movement when it hits something overhead.
I have to right-click and select 'play' repeatedly to get the music drop part of the game to start, and then the keys don't actually do anything. I have to agree with the comments about poor coding (and the ones who attribute it to lag).
Ditto what maakrapu and chiparoo said. Lag's even worse since you move the mouse off the flash screen while playing, and you managed to disable screen resizing too. 1/5
