Why do I have to collect the gold after the work, particularly from automated buildings, it's just annoying busy work. Also, why do all the buildings stop if you go to upgrade mode? It doesn't make any sense.
Hey, lichemaster. Thank you for your input. Regarding collecting - clear, wrote down your feedback. Regarding to buildings stopping production when switching to upgrade (build) mode. Please note that once automated, businesses are producing non-stop no matter if switching to build mode or even exiting the game and then returning. Upon return, you will be able to collect all the gold produced and gathered in the meanwhile. Hope this claryfies. Best wishes, Leena

"Six Six Six" and "K-Code" are not working for me, maybe because I'm on a laptop keyboard, typing it on the virtual keyboard on the game doesn't work either.

Of course it's your problem, almost all the other games manage to make volume controls work inside kongregate without needing a refresh.
Problem with sounds is releated with Kongregate Template, so I got no way to fix it.
Sound/Music work fine on all platforms, work fine on WebGL without Kongregate Template.
I use Kongregate Template, because without it, I can't get Kongregate API to work, You might say, that I could contact Kongregate for support. Yes I had ask them for support, and They had respond to me (after 2 months), and asked If I still need help... So yeah, not my problem.

Are you blocking cookies / local storage somehow? Playing in incognito mode maybe?
