I always find games like this very interesting. Much like Upgrade Complete, the intent of the game is not gameplay at all. Usually it's supposed to make a point about how end-users care about superficialities and not the actual game. Thing is, in the end, you made a game with awful gameplay. 1/5
Everyone who has ever played a handful of casual games online has played a game just like this. It isn't new or innovative in any way. It's just Generic Defense Game X: Penguin Edition.
It's pretty stupid if I accidentally upgrade my towers during gameplay, messing up the next round when I need a new elevator, but can't upgrade my towers when I actually WANT to during the round.
It's like you took everything that made the last games suck, distilled it, and put released it in the form of a trading card game.
2/5. Really disappointing.
Really boils down the basic gameplay of J-RPGs down, but so much so that it loses all palatable features. The genre sucks once you get everything; that's why they generally end around that time. Character building is what RPGs are all about. 2/5
Mikexsouth, you are a moron. You must have played this game for a total of ten seconds.
The game is terrific. An amazing homage to the Legend of Zelda franchise. I wish I could give you more than a 5/5.
