This is one of the more fun TD games because of the variety of towers and cartoonish artwork. However, it is also one of the more difficult ones. This can be frustrating or stimulating, depending on what kind of gamer you are. It's well implemented, nice job.
Oh, lame, it apparently did not log my last session, I'm having to replay about 10 agonizingly tedious levels. Probably Kongregate's fault rather than the developer's, though.
This game is difficult but well implemented. I never played Geometry Wars so I'm not jaded about any similarities or differences, which seems to be a common criticism here. It's fun, hectic, and challenging. I consider this to be a nice job.
Gaaa! The "Sell" button is too close to other useful buttons. I just accidentally sold a Super Monkey tower. >:-[
This should have a "Confirm Y/N" added to it, at minimum.
Pretty fun game, but it gives you no real clue as to what the goal is or how good you're doing. You pass to the next level no matter how badly you did. That seems like a design flaw to me. Other than that, nicely executed.
The game is visually beautiful with a decent soundtrack and excellent control responsiveness, but alas, no storyline and one-dimensional gameplay make it a 2/5.
Nice game, good job. Sometimes the visual areas were not easy to see. (Example: hull breach in the cockpit.) No shame in using the walkthrough there. The game was enjoyable to play because of the writing and in-game cues that kept it moving. Keep it up.
Level 10 is the first level that requires a solution that involves the weird physics that are not explained - that water flows "behind" (i.e. passes through) pipes and containers if it does not enter them. That is why people get hung up on that level.
Other than that the game was very mildly entertaining. The puzzles did not present much challenge once the unexplained and non-obvious physics property that I mentioned was revealed.
Also one level had a problem dragging containers through the line of crates. I spent a few minutes assuming the containers had to stay below the crates before one container decided to finally follow my cursor above the line.
As implemented 1/5. Has potential though.
I agree with most of the other posters. The concept is good, but the precision required in the solution does not match the precision available in the controls. Thus though the problems are easy to solve mentally, physically executing the solution becomes a terribly annoying hassle. 2/5.
One thing I HATE about the UI for this game: From the pause menu, "Return To The Map" is easily confused. I often hit this button thinking it will return me to the map I am currently playing, but instead it quits my game and sends me back to the exterior world map. That is EXTREMELY frustrating and I feel there should at least be an "Are you sure? Y/N" prompt and the button text should be changed to something more obvious like "Exit To World Map". Yes, this is a minor complaint, but an aggravating one. Other than that this is a great game.
When failing a level, having the Reset button NOT WORK, forcing you to wait those three seconds for the timer to run out, is very annoying. Also, not a very deep game. However, I have to confess, this is great mindless fun.
This game is frustrating because you can't maneuver left-to-right very well and there is a dead zone where if enemies are right on top of you, you can't hit them but they can still hit you.
The game introduces a very interesting concept, but really these levels are just guesswork for the average person. I'm not usually in the mood to work out permutations for what the board will look like in 20 generations. Ultimately it becomes too exhaustive to be fun. 4/5. Well implemented game.
Fairly fast game. Puzzles were extraordinarily easy. Liked the background music. Clean crisp UI feel. Not much in the way of storyline (plot) or replayability, so game play needs to be more engaging to earn a great rating from me. 3/5.
Civiballs makes my computer lag terrribly. I have a fairly robust computer. Something is terribly wrong with the code here, there is a memory leak somewhere.
