anyone else having a problem getting the C button to emit a breath weapon? or at least the healing mist one (only one I've tried so far); and yes, this is after I've gotten 4 blue meals and it says I've got the healing mist breath

@striker9936: Fusion is done by selecting the turret to upgrade, clicking on the fusion button in the menu, and then my clicking on one of the four turrets IN THE MENU and then clicking the check mark to confirm. You don't merge two turrets on the map. This confused me for a good while too. The instructions don't explain it well.

In second sentence of last post, I meant you detonate 2 super circles, then look for circles you can detonate with one click.

Ok, just beat the last level twice for 3 wins out of last 4 tries, so not all that luck based. Max out all but squares, then first two 4 clicks should be spent on super circles; after that, on whatever circles you can cause to explode with one click, and it should cascade from there.

Finally beat last level. I maxxed out everything except the squares. You need the circle's and triangle's damage potential since everything takes four base hits to die. Targeted super circles. Victory was more luck than anything else I think.

Last cave trial, as has been said by some others, seems to depend on keeping the invincible goblin off balance in front of your army, so it can't kill your army and doesn't somehow run or glitch past your army and take out your castle. My lineup was: Centaurs, mermaids, witches, succubi, goblins, and dwarfs, for maximim number of attacks + attack negating specials such as freezing, tossing the invincible goblin up in the air, etc. Only necessary magic card was the Athena Protection card, maxxed, which probably kept my units alive long enough to kill the opposing castle. The comet card is nice too, to get rid of ranged units offscreen when you're attacking the castle. I don't know how the invincible goblin somehow jumps past my army, but I noted that using the phoenix card could sometimes catapult it past my army, so be wary of using that card.

Needs some refinement, particularly better troop control and better card descriptions. I have no idea what special abilities some of my cards had unless it was really obvious in battle (like the cannon). Troops need options for aggressive (attack anything that attacks you or comes near), defensive (guard your spot, don't move), and something for grouping units together, so you don't have to press 1-7 to move your army. Oh, and the ability to autosend units that have just respawned to the frontlines, although the grouping different kinds of units together option I just mentioned will take most of that irritation away.

@Ettera: the missiles only come when you destroy those floating mines/sensors, so if you're low on energy, wait for recharge before you destroy them and spawn the wave of missiles Turrets are pretty much useless, like Wraith404 said, but if you have one it will shoot at incoming waves before you see them, enabling you to send out a blast and get a jump on the next wave Good game, too short though. There were times I found myself waiting for a power up in order to survive, but I didn't usually have to wait for long. Maybe I was lucky, but for me the powerup drops were just about right

If you mean the mayor Dragonblade, I can only tell you how I beat it with my speed bio (this was for imposs badge). I used the toxicant form + shadow meld + agile exposure + withdrawal, crystalizing the mayor to buy time for withdrawal to refresh. I got rid of the claw first.

The autofire feature is a huge step up, as is the ultragun bullet speed. With the way the enemy maneuvers, the bullet speed made hard mode far more difficult than it should have been. Even now, I found myself trying to make my bullets go faster (the body sway thing, like shooting foul shots, you lean you body in the way you want the ball to go after you've shot it, like you can affect the trajectory after release, lol), but at least it was manageable the last time. I wish I'd thought of selling the initial fighter bay trick, I can see that making the beginning of the game a lot simpler. Sucks to try hitting enemeies off the top or bottom of the screen.

I have to second Flaxo's comment. There needs to be something that tells you what levels you got the available stars on. I have all the levels completed, but only 20 stars, so to get badge I'd have to go through each level with a star again. Not the designers fault, just a mistake in assigning the badge that way.

@080087:for zone 6 I think you need to beat zone 5 on challenging or heroic, not just heroic; you are right about reaching zone 7 though

Any advice on the mages in zone 2 when going for the Legend achievement in order to reach zone 7? Their doom debuff seems way overpowered to me. 70% less healing (2 will totally negate any healing), last 3 turns, has a hefty dot that goes with it, 50% resistant to dispel, and seems to have a small cooldown. That's a lot of love into a single spell. Worse, Free Will doesn't seem to provide the shielding sometimes if it fails to dispel doom.
