This was really an Alpha, not a Beta. A Beta is finished except for bug hunting. This is missing a great deal. Towers need descriptions. Need to be able to de-select a tower (hit esc or something) once one is chosen. Need to not place towers under menu. Need clear marking of entrance/exit (esp map 4). Balance. Sound effects for flame tower. And hopefully tower upgrades and much longer (more waves) maps. Bigger maps. More enemy variety (soldiers in hummers, UAVs, etc). Will be great, just put in the work and polish it up!
Marvelous game, SCREAMINGLY hilarious. And yes, the comedy absolutely makes up for every other shortcoming. The comedy is enhanced in certain cases especially BECAUSE of the crude graphics and exploratory interface and the like. All haters can skate to another game if they can't appreciate.
Good game... could benefit from different gameplay modes and some tweaking of the towers... also, if possible, the speed really needs work. It becomes VERY slow in later levels (even on a dual core system).
Good concept, but very flawed execution. Units and towers need to be differentiated more, the building of additional towers by the computer doesn't change the playing field very much, specifying a path to follow is not as beneficial as it could be so the player will probably mostly ignore it... there are many ways this could be improved and I hope it is!
Don't know the characters (if Newgrounds starts sharing their ad revenue with creators, I might start going there, but not until then) and there was no obvious help as to how to play.
Same as previous Four Second Fury game. Overall pretty fun, but annoying how it lies about challenges. Says 'beat all 50 games in 10 lives' for endurance mode. After you DO that, however, it throws a boss at you.
Love the music and aesthetics... the animation is superb and the humor quite good. Lots of great possibilities for the future. Makes me imagine the game tricked out like GBA versions of Metroid and Castlevania.
