You can hold space to skip through the dialogues (or hold pagedown for even faster skipping), but I would hardly recommend it - the "slow talking bits" make the story and the story makes the game. And honestly, all the texts in the entire game would fit on a leaflet. Reading doesn't hurt ;)
Why does the game slow down on hard mode. On all the others with the animations turned off it plays fine, but on hard mode it still animates the back of the cards?
