The "Maximum Parts" upgrade is broken and now costs me zero DNA, so I bumped it up to level 197 where I can have 200 parts. I don't have 200 parts yet. No more upgrading parts or even selling parts, they all just get attached and I just plowed through levels 225-300 in a day.
This occurred around upgrade number 25 or so (I was too excited to pay attention). Funny how I was spending billions upgrading my 20+ weapons as I slowly worked boss by boss, and now I'll slap any-old gray weapon on my guy...
Sandbox was only "FUN" up to level 40 or so. I'm sickly addicted to this BS game, I would strongly advise any newcomers to just stay the hell away from this turd LOL
At level 130 and climbing, I can say the worst aspect of the broke item drop system, is that upgrading yellow weapons I found long, long ago is providing more damage than newly-found yellows of the same level. So there's really no purpose to there even BEING drops after level 50 or so - it's strictly a cash grind to get any stronger...
I tried going back to earlier levels to "farm" items again, hoping for some Blues, but even on Insane, only gray and green are dropping now.
Would be great if upgrading weapons affected their fire rate, even just a little... I'd like to have two Grav bullets that don't fire one on top of the other, kinda limits their pulling powers!
I can't help but think I'm this little virus shooting all the red blood cells and ruining some healthy beast's life.... =/ Bosses should be white blood cells!
As far as I can tell, the first artillery upgrade does nothing? The upgrades are weird, the damage ranges are too random, and it's difficult to tell what effects are happening. Put some explanations on these buttons or write us a better tutorial! I have tried everything I can think of to get 3 stars on the first level, so I can unlock the second, but having only 3 stars from Normal to invest in my upgrades means it's pretty tough, nearly impossible.
I will take a couple more tries to kill the general in the 10th wave by sheer luck on the damage outputs, but I'm a pretty determined player. Most others will have moved on by now!!
More Titles would be fun, or maybe you can level up a title to grow its bonuses and reduce its negatives? Also I'll echo the suggestion to display a timer for next Age. Fun and looking forward to your continued updates, 4/5 til then =)
Apparently i unlocked some sort of super-plant-roots thing, but there was no description of what it is or how to use it? are my linked plants just working harder than before??
I was getting WRECKED on normal on the THIRD level with every weapon fully upgraded, and I had some decent items too. Decided to restart on Easy, something i almost never have to do, and I've played through the first two levels a few times now without any Item drops. Lame.
A quick tip is to buy a slew of healing potions at lower levels, because they go up in price as you level... and enemies don't really drop more and more money at the same rate.
