Whenever enemies appear the mouvements get restricted to one tile by one tile, which sucks majorly when trying to catch up to something running away :/
Should make it that we can convert skill points to normal points once we unlock all the skills, but aside from that I like it, the end is really a good balanced grind
I find the character hitbox a bit weird, keep getting stuck into trees and the like, which end with me dead, because apparently my character is made of stick tape
I'd have thought left click and right click for portal would be the best option
I mean, we aim with the mouse, clicking would be much easier than keys to shoot
I lost more because I couldn't pick up bombs and stuff when I had a gun, and had to save the amno, rather than any other reason
that really is just bad design
I hate the pen driving controls, the keys are in reverse, right goes up and left goes down, it makes no sense
I lost more during those part than the entire rest of the game
they're just unusable
I just hate that I can't upgrade all my abilities because of those "surprise" square
Because it means I can get for exemple way too much charisma and not enough agility
Apparently I need a hammer which I cannot find, and I know there is something to open on the wall by the door, but I can't get it to open
I have the screwdriver, the black tape, the picture, and I used the paper on the lamp, but I can't find anything else?
Very nice beginning. Two main issues: Fishes that swim outside of outer boundaries, or inside the bigger obstacles, which make them impossible to catch even when circling around. The second issue is when you reach "end game" the fishes don't spawn fast enough, and it become a very slow grind to finish upgrading which get old fast. That aside, adding more content of course, but I suppose that is already planned and I see some good suggestions in other comments, like more boats etc. Still, a really nice little prototype
Appreciate the response, the fish going under obstacles has certainly been a topic brought up a lot. I had it in there as a challenge (the koi can be directed around obstacles, bass is a bit of a DPS race) but I understand I have a disconnect with players right now. I'll certainly look into ways to remedy this in future version. You're right though, I didn't have much of a plan for end game because I didn't expect players to stick with it for so long, so lesson learned!
Well I eventually managed to get to the end actually, in a no-kill run, since I literally could not kill
I use chrome, latest version, and I did manage to kill one enemy, the only one I can, it's the one bouncing off the wall in level 3. This one I can kill, if I attack it when it's touching the wall. But else, it gets me
Other than this though, the game isn't bad, I actually liked it
You can do it! Try different strategies out! Make good use of slow time (hold Space) to get your bearings!
