My only complaint is that the joker balls are not intuitively colored ... they should be clear I think. Still an interesting and fresh strategy game. Well executed.
I can't tell whether it's the UI or whether it's an issue with my technology (Unity, browser, whatever) that makes this game so close to impossible to play. Getting the camera to obey is the biggest challenge ... interesting idea though, from what I can tell ...
Well a lot is well done, in particular the memory management is great (and that usually plagues this kind of game). One annoyance is the dweller lord can easily walk you into a corner and make it impossible to move, forcing a reset of the game. Spells are too strong overall as well. Still pretty fun and some creative enemy designs for sure.
Fun game but my biggest issues are all design issues. The bombs that blow themselves up have too much life. They are bombs. They should be one-hit, especially if they're going to drain 4 of my life on contact. I can't buy enough upgrades in most attributes (a mind-boggling one since more upgrades means people play your game longer). I can understand wanting to have a challenging game ... but this is a mob rush game. It's insane for the difficulty to be because the player CAN'T give himself a reasonable amount of life, or regen, or firing rate, or potion effectiveness (etc etc). I feel like the harder levels are not more difficult to beat for any reason except that my character is needlessly crippled, like as if I selected "impossible mode" from some hidden menu before the game started.
To answer BOD questions: You advance by doing ok in a level and then SELECTING ANOTHER MAP. You can't go 1-2-3-4 in one area, you have to jump around the whole map. You'll have to play at least 20 races before you can even TRY a level-4 challenge and then you'll have to beat a level-4 challenge, which is unlike the entire rest of the game, doing stunt courses. Most are nearly impossible. You may not want to waste your time getting this badge ... otherwise, plan to spend AT LEAST an hour of frustration on it. Please upvote to help badge-getters.
Bug: When you acquire a rare equip for a crusader and it goes in the second slot (with the third slot empty), the third slot takes on a blue border for no reason (it's empty). This has happened to me on several occasions with different crusaders. Not an important bug but sort of a weird one ...
Thanks for the report. Remnant of the earlier bug where a piece of gear would go in an empty slot instead of automatically replacing the old piece of gear. On our fix list. =)
Love the game but I am not a fan of epic buffs. Buffs in general are terrible compared to equipment -- it's annoying enough that they seem to be 75% of chests' contents. But then getting an epic buff from the unbelievably rare jeweled chest? Seems unnecessary given how near-impossible it is to even find an epic.
Wonderful game. I think you could really make it shine with a few more options. Try thinking about options like characters that hit certain creature types for bonus damage; more optional areas that offer different types of creatures, like for example ones that drop relatively more gold but don't yield chests; abilities that do increased damage based on total number of clicks ever performed, or total gold ever collected, etc. There are so many ways to offer parallel options to prevent the feeling of linear progression -- which makes it seem like only one option is best. The more you can avoid that sense, the better your game will be. Keep it up -- so far so great!
You should add just a bit better text recognition for the Congos. I had to type "Democratic Republic of the Congo" without leaving any words out, which is silly. Dem Rep Congo (the standard abbreviation) should work. Otherwise this is really a great game, thank you!
@Sir_Valimont Hi there, actually some other works like "DRC" but we'll sure add "Dem Rep Congo" in the next update! Thanks for the feedback and the kind comment :)
What an outstanding game. Really well put together in every aspect, from the controls to the level design to the music to the difficulty curve to the dialogue. From about 500 games I've now rated this is one of ~10 receiving 5 stars. I hope there's a sequel. p.s. Isis is a central character in Final Fantasy Legend II, a cornerstone of the Gameboy from back in the 90s, and the Shrine of Isis also a central location. If people want to flip out, let it be pointed out that there is plenty of game-related precedent for use of one of the central characters of the Egyptian pantheon. Cheers.
A very confusing, not intuitive game with no instructions on how to play? This looks like it has potential but needs work. The "Help" button does not help.
Two most important things for this game: 1) Better English translation. 2) Rarity (CREL) is not obvious enough. The colors should be more different, not all red and purple.
