and it's pretty sad on the demon lord when I have to molest all 4 arrow keys just to get past the tap quickly part because hammering the left and right arrows doesn't suffice
There's a huge boulder on level 3 of the challenge. When you have the choice of going underground or staying above ground, stay above. You'll eventually come to it, and it's not hard to get 10 seconds on it at all. Recommended difficulty: medium
The only way you're going to get big-name songs that you know is if the artists give permission to FFR to step their music. Otherwise, nothing can be done. So if you want some Queen, AC/DC, etc., go get the permission for FFR and notify Tass. I'm sure he'd be happy about that.
