its an interesting game. and i would like it... if it were not for the fact that the controls are unpredictably sloppy. i dont know if it is just my setup which is causing it, or what. sometimes i release the key, and the guy keeps moving... sometimes i press the key, and the guy stands still
I am running Firefox 45.0.1 (as far as i can tell, the latest) but when loading the game, i get a 'popup' which says something to the tune of 'this game requires a browser which can run WebGL' and then suggests i install firefox. Then, after i click away this popup which blocks access to the rest of the page, it sends me back where i was previously. there are two problems with this:
1) I AM runnin firefox (see above)
2) By blocking the the page, and then forcing me back, it prevents me from reading the comments (without brute-forcing my way around which was laborious)
Until either the popup gives actually useful information (like, say, "you need to have WebGL installed" for instance) or the popup doesnt block access and then send me back to my previous page, this gets 1 star from me. - If you are going to have error messages, make them useful
I did not write this error message. It seems to be embedded in the unity WebGL core. Still trying to figure out a workaround since I am not allowed to modify the unity source files. Thanks for explaining the issue very detailed.
i dont know what it is with people. i see that you have a 'mute' button, but it doesnt turn off your music. i'm sure you worked hard on your music, but i'd rather have the ability to turn it off.
i do like this game. i find it both intriguing and challenging. only thing i ask though, is a 'hint-through' (NOT A WALKTHROUGH - i want to figure it out mostly myself... i just get stuck at places. Some other (minor - mostly cosmetic) additions: volume control, and a clearer 'level #' definition.. otherwise, its a great game, and interesting concept! 5/5
1) as already said, there needs to be a way to control the camera. 2) tab should close the 'map/stats/cargo/etc' window. 3) you need to be able to say which side to shoot from. when i'm attacking an island, and i have killed everything else... there is NO reason for my ship to shoot AWAY from the island. that is just silliness.. no rating yet, as i think you still need to make (at least) these changes.
nice game, but needs (as has already been said) descriptions about how the mods work, and a save feature. Also (which has not been said) needs to 'lock' the pointer (unlock with 'esc'?) so that as i'm moving around and shooting things, i dont 1) accidentally click on a 'mod'/special button and 2) click in an adjasent window and suddenly am looking at a spreadsheet ... overall, ok 3/5 from me
it would also help if we knew ahead of time what our glasses look like? (so we know what we're looking for?) for instance, are they 'collapsed'? are they 'open'? are they actual glasses, or are they in a 'glasses case'? (walked around this thing for over 15 minutes without seeing anything that reminded me of glasses)
there are several problems with this. 1) there is no 'in-game' undo option.2) the 'tutorial' needs to be a separate page so we can see what the value of things is during the game 3) for some reason, some shape combinations cannot move in certain directions why?
1) as everyone else has said, the difficulty curve of this game is a problem.
2) Another problem is that sometimes, clicking to shoot turns into 'keep shooting until i click again' which is BAD as i have a limited ammo.
a hint-through would be much appreciated.... (i want to figure it out myself... but want a /little/ hint without the whole thing being spelled out for me =) )
