A little guide for beginners: run with the 3rd minion skill (that gives crit) until you finish all crit achievements. Build your minions with pure STR until you can get the 3rd difficulty to 100%. (don't worry there are talents that help you along the way), then max DEX. Only run the 5 minute quests until you finish all quest achievements. In the necronomicon, max corpse pact and then agony. These are great because they scale with your cast speed. Next max dagon. That's about as far as I have made it.
At around depth 1000, the game begins to feel a little more stable. A crit+minion's 200% special on first hit can take off 60% depth HP. I can definitely tell that this game is balanced around late game play.
The Order necro talent is utterly useless and needs to be re-balanced. At 10 points it takes 100 depths to level up a minion only 1 time? By just doing missions one can level up minions every 2-3 depth levels.
What this game is missing is that feeling of getting stronger through resetting. That fact that you can't grind lower floors or start over from depth 1 means you're constantly up against the hardest depth throwing pitiful numbers at it and see yourself getting weaker the farther you get.
Nerfed gear too . . . which was already weak in the previous version . . . so basically nerfs all around. You must really not want people to play your game because you made it exceptionally slow to progress.
you nerfed all the good necronomicon skills, now they are just as shitty as the other ones. I don't understand why you nerfed them, they weren't OP, they were balanced.
I think %12 gravepact chance is way to good because gravepact is empowering your next 5 spell casts. So you can trigger again before buff ends.
