King_Leonidus: For Stonefield Border I used 100% blue mages... I placed at the exit first so that my closers could get a few levels before the early guys started stealing all of the kills. I used all generalists as well but it is probably more efficient to place a slower or two in there somewhere - though not very many. I'm not sure how many upgraded skills are required to beat it this way... You should be fine with maxing the red/blue side of the mage skills I think.
