The power disparity between different level bonuses is very significant e.g. one doubles the tower's damage, and another increases range by .1m (an incredibly insignificant amount). While I like the idea of having different boosts and I'm even okay with them being randomly selected, it would be nice to have a little more balance. As of right now the only towers I bother to upgrade are the ones with the damage bonuses from leveling, as the gold:dps ratio of the other towers simply makes them not worth upgrading.
I would love it if they did a coin collection bundle for the endless dawn coins. Of course it would have to be more expensive than the Crystal Dawn Coin Bundle, but I'm not a huge fan of the gamble that is the coin chests.
I understand the conept of an idle game and many of them take time to progress, but his game is waaaaaay too slow. It's painful really. And the rewards for progressing onto the next monster arent just minimal, they're nonexistant. I can defeat the 9th monster, but I make 4-5x as much gold farming the fifth or sixth becaus the gold scaling is so poor. If you want to make it so diffiult to progress to highe levels at least make the abiity to reset and gain souls available sooner. Other than the progression rate the art and game style is nice, but in it's current state its not very playable unless you want to let it idle for days or weeks at a time, buy a couple levels, then rinse and repeat.
I have painfully slow internet and when I go the map underneath the quest tab the location markers on the map take forever to load if they ever do, but most of the time fails to do so at all. It'd be nice to be presented with the option to have a simplified drop down menu to switch between map locations. Alternatively I could move out of the boondocks and get internet faster than 50 kbps, and considering I have several trillion gold stashed I could probably afford it.
Customer- "I am about to depart on an epic quest and need a mighty Templar Sword to slay my fearsome enemy!"
Me- "Uh... How about a harp?"
Customer- "Wow thanks! That's exactly what I need!"
I started playing this game yesterday because of the promotion, and I can say I legitimately liked it. However, in these first two days alone, I have experienced more lag, disconnect, and server-side issues than all the issues I've had with other mmo's on Kongregate combined. It's just ridiculous. It's a really fun game, and it's sad to see it ruined by horrible performance. Fix the bugs R2Games, and you will get a lot more players, and more importantly, a lot more happy players who might be willing to put a bit of coin into your game.
@ Darkened Tyrant, the reason they did away with the crafting of potions is to emphasize the importance of perception. You need a higher perception in order to get the better potions now. ALbeit, it is annoying to have 20 brown attack potions :p Perhaps they should make it so you could craft them into stat points or something, but I doubt they'll go back to the up-tiering of potions.
@Bladger yes, you can. Throughout your travels you will find potions that increase max health/mana. My health is currently 152. He needs to punish dying in some form, and I'd rather he take my health than my equipment or money :p
After playing this game on here for several months, I've managed to accumulate a ton of useless troops like Goblin Scouts, Nightblades, and Town Guards. It would be really cool if they increased the proc damage of some equipment or general, or even better, could be crafted to form some new troops, or perhaps a legion. Maybe 100x town guards and the "Guards! Guards!"legion to make a GG2? Just an idea.
Perhaps people should be limited to 5 upvotes/downvoted a day. I've seen too many posts on here (or more commonly, five-six posts in a row) with -10, -20, or even -30, simply for posting a raid link. Yeah, I know it's kind of annoying, but having every single comment under the rating threshold is even more so. Oh, and downvoting this only proves my point, trolls.
@Bnbazel, No, it's 1450 planet coins. The 5 in the center is simply the appearance of the coin. If you don't believe me, go ahead and buy the 30 pc one. You can make enough kreds through free surveys.
@khlavac Investing in land is a good idea. Later on, when you have around 1000 stamina and are dumping it on something like a world raid that can do 50 damage per hit, you'll be spending millions on health refills. Pour all extra money you can into new land. Overtime, it pays for itself (and it's pretty cool to come back after not playing for 10 hours and have 50 million gold just sitting there :p)
@ScoobyPwnsOnU You can change your class immediately for a fee of planet coins (not recommended) and you can select a new class at level 100, 500, and 1000 I believe. It shouldn't take you too long to reach 100, so it's not that big of a problem :)
