Oh, I forgot: Trial of Air:
Please exchange trials like this:
Trial 2 becomes new trial 3.
Trial 3 becomes new trial 4.
Trial 4 is removed.
Trial 5 becomes new trial 2.
Now the difficulties actually rise for each trial, instead of having the most difficult trials in the positions 2 and 3... I had a really bad feeling when I finished 3 and hit 4, but luckily I saw that it was easy quickly...
Trial 4 is, however, just a gigantic boring grind with little thinking required. This is why I recommend removal.
Overall, nice game.
But
the fire weapon with all upgrades is better than any other weapon in most situations.
Only with a very, very large enemy number the stick is better(because it's not, unlike all other weapons, an expendable projectile weapon but a permanently piercing weapon)...

A better solution would be one sword, shield and bow in The Caverns, at an unlockable fame level(2, maybe 1) two of each... but not guranteed further down. This should usually(not always, such as 2 +1 rolls) result in usable gear, but the best gear(+7-9) would not be able to be obtained in this fashion.
About the possible changes: The weapon/shield can be an issue especially if you don't get any of a sort, especially shield. I had it two times that I had to run around with a subpar shield into crowded rooms - that's game over, simply. To clarify - crowded rooms are rooms that make it impossible to sneak around(exit blocked) and have significant power in them.
Kazuokun-an option to disable "retire disciple" is probably ok, but removal is probably not ok, because having to stick with a messed up disciple as master is dumb. Plus up to a certain rank you cannot promote. And it would punish trying to experiment if a certain setup works or not.
After testing a bit more I found out that it isn't the win ability that makes sword and shield+guard so bad. It's the time this combo needs to finish a fight, giving much less than a fast takedown build. You can still get 2% attack on red enemies a bit past 180-the last big jump. What you can't get is high EXP.(btw: Crit is 48% on that build!)
Hmm there is something that is not nice for endgame: The enemies can reach a higher skill level than the max. This is evident from these combo enemies: They can do a combo of 6 at training level 190 which I cannot do even at max combo skill(Speed).
(The equipment should be not an issue as long as you grind money via buying and selling(which I don't tho)) Oh, and max stars so that is not the reason.
No, Deatharr. Dark Wood isn't that overpowered. It doesn't have a defense against frozen death and poisoned death(or poison in general); and trade life gives the opponent one more chance to kill. Without being silenced.
Let's see...
Not much skill involved, very restrictive energy system, paying system, annoying "share this" every time, nothing else that could be interesting...
Sorry, this game is really bad. 1/5.
Patch killed rings. Now should be okay.
