Decent game, but I have to agree with most people that the jumping is terrible. And it wouldn't be a big nitpick except there's a lot of platforming to do. Also, picking up items should've been assigned to Q or E instead of the mouse.
Although not unique, it's a pretty great puzzle game and it got interesting once the bosses got into the mix. My only gripe is how everything looks the same there only being a sky and floating checkboard pieces. I end up going around in circles so much and missing possible forks in the road.
Even back when it was new, I remember this game being super fun, but it still lagged when I played, particularly when a boss showed up and caused the game to slow down to render all the effects. It always made me miss notes.
For what it is, it's a pretty decent shooter and the upgrades are a good incentive to keep playing. The leveling system seems completely unnecessary though, especially since you can't play those stages once you reach the required level.
Thanks! Yes the level phases are completely useless, it took more creativity to create missions. I promise in an upcoming game to improve. Thanks for playing.
I remember this game actually being good and fun, but time has not been kind to it. Mostly because future Flash updates completely messed with the timing, so getting excellent scores is really hard. Somebody needs to move the SCGMD series to HTML5 or something.
Very interesting game. It was fun trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle of what the objective is. I'd say the only flaw is that the main character moves a little too fast, but that's a minor nitpick.
This game has a high rating, because it used to work well at the time. Games from around 2007-2009 have a tendency to be broken in some way or another thanks to numerous flash updates. It's lame, but nothing can be done.
Oh huh, I thought I was going to have to get the badges all over again, but... nope, they still count from the Flash game I played back in 2011. Still... it's tempting to play this again.
Level 12-3 was as far as I got. Just when I thought I could breeze through it easily, it suddenly got me without warning. Don't overestimate your memory!
I know bashing idle games is the hip thing to do, but I'm going to try to judge the game for what it is. Honestly, it's a typical idle adventure with a lot of window dressing. The different heroes and their abilities mixing things up do offer some good strategy, but eventually it becomes moot unless you hit a huge wall. And as nice as the graphics are, they are really intensive for browsers. Overall, it's okay, but there are better idle games on here if those are your thing.
Just beat Varog on Hardcore Code. It was a pretty fun game overall. I loved how customizable the equipment was. My only gripe is that I can't decide how my crew should attack or even what spells to leave behind in battle. It gets pretty bad when your magic guy cycles through ten or so spells and abilities at the wrong moments.
It's a fun idea for sure, but I do feel like it's a bit too grindy on upgrading your character once I got to stage 2 and couldn't progress past the pipe until my jump and grip stats were over halfway.
Pretty good Match 3 game. I agree that having the enemies similar looking makes it hard to discern where to make matches, but I love that you can make any move in any four adjacent directions. A shame that it didn't get a high enough score for badges.
It's a real shame that the servers are gone, because it looks like I'm missing out on story cutscenes and post-game content. Though even without that stuff, this game is still really length. Like the first one, it's definitely a game best enjoyed in small bits.
