what's good:
concept, design and balance.
what's bad:
control, AI and font. it has potential to become a 5/5 but at this stage 3/5's what I can spare.
3/5
the tower is indeed where the whole level design went bad and leaves with a foul taste in your mouth. I dont really blame the designer tho, i blame the daily hard :p
all achievements were daily badged before. then its part of challenge. then its "first badge quest". all this for a game that dont even have 4 out of 5, and is now outdated as hell (Look at that - 2006 it is!)
makes you wonder just how much the dev paid to get promoted.
don't know why this rate's scored below 4....its one of the best puzzle i've ever seen in recent days from all three aspects: concept, difficulty, length (which many other puzzles fall for becoming repetitive after a while). too many people prefer to grind(shame on you, grindaway and grindaway2) than to think, perhaps. 5/5.
levels like 29 and 45 are exactly why this game deserves a 1/5: it's not that the designer's unaware of level's ridicule...its actually designed to be stupid and crazy.
It looks like "press SPACE to continue". However when I press SPACE I just restart the level - so it might be that SPACE comes from "SPACE to pause" overlapping with PRESS..CONTINUE.
Help needed urgently.
Can't even pass the tutorial.
When I got to the extraction point in tutorial, some new words appears in the bottom bar and overlaps with each other. I can only make out "Press.........tinue". Press what to continue? Help, anybody?
the good:
smooth controls. difficulty about-right.
the bad:
linear gameplay. mediocre storyline. BAD UI.
personally I'd prefer "robot wants" style storyline over a confusing & plainly one like this anyday. you'd also want to double check various UI problems here and there..
