Haven't seen many comments with this suggestion: Go into Endless Tower *as soon as you find it*. I went in at level 11, moved to the edge of each floor, carefully made rows of enemies and progressed, avoided damage, and left at level 16ish when I ran out of HP pots. Then went back in and got to floor 50. On that second attempt, by about where I got before, I was taking so little damage I paid no attention to whether enemies attacked, and certainly not to AP. Also you effectively get infinite gold too, so factor that into your fairy shop purchases. I recommend the armor and XP ring for early purchases, the HP pots when attempting the tower, and the randomise and chickenator for after doing endless tower.
I was continually failing one of the missions because I didn't know what to do. Turns out there are audio instructions? That's lame, but even lamer is you didn't bother to tell me. :P
Played this game lots of times, just once I managed to hit 0% satisfaction, and it was on the last order of course, and it is the only time I beat 80 million score :D
Soooo... another intricate game, barely distinguishable from the first, without a whole host of new barely distinguishable enemies, and a whole load of weapons that you'd never use.
The problem with making an intricate game like this is that if you leave a really simple but effective solution (in this case, making a tiny tank with lots of the same cheap weapon stacked on top of it), people will choose that. As a result, how would you even notice that this isn't Bubbletanks 2?
Oh, weapons advice. Ignore comments that mention about using a weapon because "it's great when you get infinite ammo". You never get infinite ammo or double damage or whatever after the first time through the game.
The only important factors really are firing and reloading speed. Rocket launcher is way to slow, Shotgun is a bit too slow (I haven't tried it much, but its splatter looks rubbish). Sniper rifle is great other than it shudders the screen in a horrible way: don't bother with it. Deagle is probably the best damage per second in the game, but sadly you need to be able to click your mouse like a mouse on steroids. That leaves only the TMP -- its damage seems a bit sucky but it's continuous, so you don't have the same problem with other weapons of every shot being a one shot kill but still not hitting fast enough.
Quite a nice game, but you have to play it four times to get to medium difficulty, and on those last two play throughs I noticed nothing other than the game getting easier. That's one of the main problems with this game, if you make sensible upgrade choices (upgrade health to 150 or so, agility to 50 or so, rest on damage, only upgrade one weapon), and generally go around in circles in the levels, the game because trivial. Apparently the game slows down if you get injured? I wouldn't know, I've only found that out from the comments...
For anyone who sees no coins or has the bottom half of their trophy room empty, try "Clear All" in the trophy room then try playing level 1:6. If that doesn't work you might have to delete the save file.
After deleting the save file I could see and get the coins.
OK, so... I play the game up to level 8/9. Then I die on level 1 twice. Then I get to 7/9. Then I die on level 1. What's the point of a game that is so goddamn random? I'm doing the same thing every time...
